This Is No Hallucination

*Dream*

The shadows were moving ever so slightly against the wall. Each one morphing into faces and bodies. Each face frowning yet with an expression that gave away no emotion. The shear detail in the shadow was enough to make anyone's blood curdle. A sound, much like nails down a black board filled the small room and the shadows dispersed, leaving a bloody trail along the wall. I leant in to get a closer look at the red scrawl and gasped when it became focused. 'Watch your back' What was that supposed to mean? Although I didn't understand it, it somehow made me want to run. Run away from whatever it was causing the shadows and faces.

*End Of Dream*

Bay sat forward suddenly, in a cold sweat. The covers stuck to her skinny frame and her hands were shaking by her sides.

"What the fuck was that about?" She muttered to herself, trying to refrain from breaking down. She heard foot steps coming from the hallway outside her door and froze to the spot. Bay squeezed her eyes shut in the vain hope it would make the sound go away.

"Bay? You alright?" Beau's voice asked softly as he opened the door slowly. Bay let out a relieved sigh and nodded slightly.

"Yeah...just a bad dream..." she sighed. Beau smiled sypathetically and sat at the end of her bed.

"Wanna talk about it?" He asked. Bay sighed and shook her head.

"It's fine, go back to bed" She smiled at him weakly.

"I can't be bothered to walk back down the hall." He grinned and curled up next to her. Bay chuckled and cuddled up with him.

"Night Beau" She smiled against his chest.

"Night Bay" Beau smiled back and kissed the top of her head before they both then fell into a thankfully dreamless sleep.

"WAKE UP! WAKE UP! THIS IS NO HALLUCINATION!" Mitch Lucker's voice screamed in Bay's ear. Marnie grinned cheesily when her sister glared at her and flicked the phone out of her hand.

"What the fuck was that for?" Beau groaned from next to Bay.

"You guys need to get yo asses up! It's almost 4...PM!" Marnie yelled. Beau groaned at how loud she was being and Bay sat up.

"Dude you need to get to work!" Bay poked Beau's side and he shot up.

"Fuck!" He yelled and ran to the bathroom. Bay and Marnie both laughed when he hoped in minutes later, pulling his socks on.

"We're coming with you! I want my tattoo finished!" Bay grinned. She had got the sleeve started a couple of months ago and hadn't had time to get it finished because of her Mother's death.

"Whatever! But you need to meet me there because you're not even dressed and I'm already late!" He said frantically, pulling on his Tom's. Bay and Marnie both nodded and Bay grabbed some clothes and walked into the bathroom. Once she was changed she walked through to the bedroom to see Marnie, already changed and sat, playing on her phone.

"Let's go!" Bay grinned. Getting tattooed was always her favourite past time. Marnie nodded and got up from the bed. They walked out the door and down the road. The whole time Bay was thinking about Josh. Why? She had no idea but he was just in the back of her mind the whole time since they'd met. They turned the corner to the main street and walked into the tattoo parler. Beau was stood behind the desk, reading a magazine.

"Come here often?" Beau asked sarcastically as Bay and Marnie approached the desk.

"You're funny!" Bay chuckled and pointed at Beau. They all laughed.

"Where's Kendall?" Bay asked. Kendall was the artist that did Bay's tattoos and one of her best friends.

"He's in the back with a client...that sounded so wrong..." Beau laughed. Bay nodded and sighed.

"I guess I'll just wait then..." She said and plopped down on the black, leather couch in the small waiting room area of the shop. About ten minutes passed of Bay and Marnie sitting on the couch in a comfortable silence before Bay got bored and decided to go and bug Kendall. She got up from the couch and wandered through to the back rooms where all the artists had their individual rooms.

"Oh Kendall!" Bay yelled as she walked into the room. She wasn't meant to disturb the artist when they were working but Bay figured that they must almost be done.

"Bay, I haven't seen you in ages!" Kendall waved slightly. He was in the process of wrapping up the clients freshly tattooed sleeve. The person in the chair turned around and Bay's breath caught in her throat.

"Oh hey Bay!" He smiled. That smile... Bay gathered her wondering thoughts enough to respond.

"Hey Josh"
