Harry's P.O.V

Yeah, yeah. I know punching Jason was a stupid thing to do but can you really blame me? How would you feel if the person you were practically in love with's ex turned up, who, less than twenty four hours ago, almost got violent with them?

Pissed of I bet.

Punching Jason probably wasn't a smart move but oh well, he deserved it. I was expecting him to punch back, or at least try to defend himself, but he didn't. He just stood there and took the blow.

Lily gasped when she  saw me punch her ex, and I knew she wanted to do something to stop me, but she was injured, there was nothing she could do. She had to just stand there and watch me do it. I don't think it completly registered in her brain the first time I punched him, and I was just about to go for a second hit when Lily started yelling at me to stop.

And because it was what she wanted, I did.

I lowered my arm and took a few calming breaths while glaring at Jason. His eyes was beginning to swell up and his nose was bleeding, but he made no move to hurt me like I hurt him. His hands were raised in surrrender and he just looked, well he looked sad.

"Harry," Lily whispered, her voice barely audible over the pouding of my heart in my ears. "Harry," she whispered again, attempting to get my attention. When I fianlly looked round at her, she looked close to tears. "Please." she reached her arm out to me, motioning me to come back over to her.

Oh god, her voice was breaking my heart. How could I have let my anger get the better of me? Why did I have to punch her ex, right in front of her? How could I have punched her ex in front of her? I wasn't the type of guy who liked confrontation, I prefered to avoid it, run from it even. But just there, seeing Jason's face, the face of the man that had made Lily cry, it sparked something in me. It made me want to hurt him.

I slowly walked back over to Lily, keeping my eye on Jason who still hadn't moved. When I reached her, I looked down at her face to make sure she was ok. She had tears in her eyes, she looked so disappointed that it made me want to cry. "I'm sorry." I whispered to her, so quietly that Jason, who was only a few steps away, wouldn't be able to hear.

"I know," she replied, her voice sounded normal, but her eyes betrayed her, they were full of sadness and hurt, all because of Jason turning up . I knew she had forgiven me for punching her ex when she squeezed my hand before letting it drop back to my side. I helped her put her arm over my shoulder, and snaked my arm around her waist again, putting the pressure of off her foot.
