Mila
She felt extremely embarrassed for making things hard for Martin.
She didn't want him to feel guilty for anything that happened between him and Jay. Mila liked Martin, and it was no one's fault that they got close. Work brought them closer and by fate's game, they were working in one place.
Are you not gonna think of what happened the other night?
She sighed. She knew it was a one-time only thing, and she tried hard to ignore that it happened at all. And thankfully, Martin also didn't mention anything about it.
She opened her eyes, and Martin was looking at her full of worry in his eyes. They were inside the car- Martin had taken care of all her discharge documents and medications. She felt slightly dizzy, and saw out the window that they were in front of her house. What time was it?
11:30pm.
She sat up and took her things, and looked at Martin.
"Thank you, again. And I'm sorry." She felt sorry.
"It's okay, please don't worry.." he sighed. She gave him a slight bump on the cheek and got down the car. Martin was already out the car, waiting for her at the door.
"See you tomorrow?" She smiled.
"Yeah, I hope things won't be hard with Jay around."
"He's leaving in two days.." she answered him, looking down.
She never realized, she wasn't thinking of the numbered days Jay had in here.
Had she moved on? Was she considered bad for that?
She didn't mean to.. but she got closer to Martin, and got distracted.
She shook her head and went inside her flat. It was pretty, everything she wanted. White walls, grey carpet, and wooden furniture.
She opened her eyes. She didn't know how, but she woke up and found herself sprawled in the middle of her bed. She must've fallen asleep. She sat up and looked for her phone. Her bag was on the floor along with her coat, so she reached for it and saw the time.
7:40 am. She slept for about 10 hours. She felt fresher than yesterday, but her head still hurt a little bit. She stood up and went straight to the bathroom.
She got out and got dressed- a floral brown dress and a beige cardigan. She put on her makeup, added a little extra blush to look healthier, and picked her bag up. She went to the door and opened it, and screamed.
It was Jay. He was standing, leaning on the wall across the door and waiting for her.
Jay
He woke up and instantly regretted what he did last night. Why did he follow them? Why didn't he just stay and work late with Tony?
It was 6:00 am. He took a quick shower and got dressed, and headed straight for Mila's flat. He wanted to say sorry, and that he wouldn't bother them again. But he couldn't stop thinking of his anger towards Martin- how dare he? How dare he try to win Mila, right after we broke up? How dare he try to to make a move on my girl?
He couldn't believe Martin at all.
He was leaning on the wall, wondering what time Mila would come out. He would wait..
After what seemed like an hour or two, he heard the door open. Mila slowly emerged from it, she was wearing a pretty dress. They locked eyes, and Mila froze.
