The Zodiac Killers name originated from a series of taunting letters sent to local press in Northern California, (possibly Nevada) the letters included four cryptograms, only one was solved. He is one of the most notorious unidentified killers of the 20th century. Claims to have killed 37 in the late 1960s and early 70s, but only 5 can be linked. The case remains open.
