Henry Lee Lucas was known for allegedly killing hundreds of men and women in the 1960s and 70s. In 1960, Lucas was charged with killing his mother, but was out on parole in 1970. He ended up going back to jail for attempted kidnapping of a 15 year-old-girl. He was then release again in 1975, where he killed two more women. When he was arrested in 1983, he confessed to the hundreds of murders, but there was no evidence to charge him. Lucas was sentenced to death, but died from natural causes in 2001.
