hours before the hospital visit: two thirty four a.m.
renjun walks towards his small apartment from the gathering with his friends. as he continues to walk, he keeps his head held low and his eyes on the ground. he spots a cracked phone on the ground. picking it up, he notices the lock screen image. isn't that yuta? renjun thinks.
he looks up from the random phone to see his hyung lying in the street, unconscious. "yuta hyung! hyung, are you okay?" renjun yells, shaking the older. he begins to panics and shakily dials the ems. tears staining his cheeks and drip onto his shirt.
hospital, three hours before yuta wakes: four fifteen a.m.
"mr. huang?" the doctor calls from the emergency room entrance. renjun swiftly stands up and rushes over to the doctor. "is he okay? do you know what happened?" renjun shutters. "he is fine, he overdosed on hydrocodone mixed after consuming a heavy amount of alcohol." the doctor looks down at his clip board.
renjun gasps. "is there anything else wrong?" that stupid bitch. renjun continues in his head. "actually, there is... i did a mri since he was bleeding by the head..." renjun nods and allows the doctor to finish his sentence. "i- do you know yuta has hanahaki?" renjun looks directly into the doctor's eyes, in complete shock.
