"c-chenle, what are you talking about?" he looks at him confusedly. "you know what i have?"
"yuta-hyung, do you know why my brother died?" chenle looks down at the dull, gray tile floor. he looks upset. yuta internally sighs.
"i thought he died of a sudden death...didn't he?" yuta questions. chenle sighs and looks up at the older.
"no...he died of hanahaki, a disease that is caused by unrequited love. he loved a boy who didn't love him back." he pauses, trying to compose himself. "lucas died after the boy said he didn't love him back...the petals trapped his airways..."
"y-you mean to tell me-" yuta begins before chenle cuts him off.
"yes, you love someone who doesn't love you back and yes, you can die because you love that person."
yuta starts coughing uncontrollably and begins to cry. chenle rubs his back whispering its going to be okay.
