Time ticked by. After what seemed like an eternity of echoing, the last rings of the slammed door faded out into the distance. Taking this as the cue to snap out of their trance, they all started to pace around, waiting for Yoongi's return. After half an hour of the repetitive game, Jin finally spoke up. "What are we even doing? We don't have time to waste. Yoongi won't come back," he glanced around the room, taking in the solemn faces. "We all know it. We have to find him! He-he was on the verge of littlespace, and we just let him go?!" A single tear rolled down his cheeks as he brushed his fringe away from his forehead. The eldest was reminded of what had occurred. It was way out of his control. Sensing his distress, Taehyung rubbed a soothing hand on his hyung's back. "Hyung, calm down..."There was a pregnant pause. The silence was deafening as the youngest boy observed his elders' states. He bit his lip and lowered his gaze, deep in thought. "What is it, Kookie? Spit it out," Hoseok posed. The said boy was seemingly the calmest one out of the lot, but one could easily tell that he was equally as worried as the others. Hoseok was just trying to keep as a rational mind, for everyone's sake."Hyung... what was on Yoongi-hyung's neck?" Jungkook's voice wavered slightly as he spoke, and his large doe eyes held a look of both uncertainty and fear. Haven spoke his mind, Jungkook felt ill at ease. He was torn ─ whether his question made the situation better or worse, he did not know.Jin stared at the younger male, an inner battle clear on his now reddened face. Finally, he sighed. Everyone held their breath, awaiting any words of enlightenment from him. "I... I think he was rapped..." the elder finally spoke, his voice quietening to almost a whisper at the end.A collective gasp echoed around the room. Jimin wrung his hands in distress. Jimin clung on to Taehyung, with the younger trying his best to comfort the distressed male. "B-but, there's no way to be sure just yet, right? Jin-Hyung?" Taehyung questioned confidently in an attempt to give Jimin some hope. Taehyung then discretely signalled Jin, a brief and pleading look lingering in his eyes. "Y-yeah... we still... don't know for sure," even though he was quite sure, Jin agreed quickly. He knew that false hope did them no good, but that was the best he could do for them."I know you're lying!" Jimin cried out before bursting into tears. "I-I tried to... I-I didn't mean to touch him...he l-looked so s-scared I... I didn't know," he murmured quietly while burying his face in his best friend's shoulder. Meanwhile, all Taehyung could do was stand still and pat Jimin's back. He too was trying not to break. "Jimin-hyung, stop," Jungkook advised with a barely visible, watery smile. He huddled closer to Taehyung and embraced the two in a quick, warm hug before letting go. "You'll exhaust yourself." No one attempted to converse further. Another bout of silence followed."Now that it's come to this, I might as well explain," Jin mumbled. Everyone wearily glanced at Jin, who was busy nibbling on his lips. "What I said... it explains his behaviour... not wanting to be touched for example..." Jin glared at their leader, who had made no attempts to speak so far. Namjoon's face was hidden behind a mask of steel, and no emotions shone through apart from a morbid emptiness. "Namjoon, do something about this..." The eldest then gestured towards the weeping boy, who was still clinging onto Taehyung's body limply. "Guys, this is not a game!" Hoseok shouted. "Stop pushing this on each other. Get yourselves together!" Hoseok tutted under his breath while quickly fetching several coats. "We need to find him before he does anything stupid, especially if he was in his headspace."Taking it upon himself to make a start, Hoseok handed out the coats. "Here, we might as well start searching now," the ravenette spoke while fiddling with his glasses. The group wordlessly grabbed their thick, warm coats and headed to the door. They had things to do and take care of.

Time could either become their best ally or their downfall...

The snow fell thickly and heavily. Yoongi's light and faltering footsteps left footprints on the white, blizzard-like wonderland around him. In contrast to this, the falling snow covered his tracks like a wave washing away sand ─ the two were such opposites in comparison, it left Yoongi in a state of numbness. But he was certain of one thing ─ the warmth he used to feel had gone away forever. It had been long replaced with a cold, dead and foreign emotion. Only terrible thoughts filled his head as he slowly slunk towards the bridge. Only thoughts of everlasting white and numbness. Yoongi could not stand this anymore. He had tolerated the torturous life he lived the best he could. In his state of disarray, all he could think of was one thing.Take the dive...
