"Para Sempre Santos, stop!" Noah shouted at the 3-year-old slithering around like a madman. Para didn't listen. "This kid is gonna be the death of me." He muttered to himself, shaking his head slowly.
"What's wrong? Let the kid tire himself out. He'll fall asleep way faster if you do." Perigo shrugged from beside him. Noah just sighed. He rubbed his slightly swollen belly. He looked from Para to Perigo, lifting his face up for a quick kiss. "Huuuuuu, Fine. But whatever happens next, I'm blaming it all on you." Noah barked. Perigo hummed in compliance before raking his hand down the side of his mate.
"Whatever happens next, I want you to know that I love you with all of my heart. All three of you." He said and smiled down at Noah. Noah snuggled into the warm chest of his lover. He closed his eyes, enjoying the comfort of the naga. Then he opened his eyes.
He was laying alone in the little den, hand clutching onto his swollen belly. There was nobody around. Night had fallen and all was quiet. Noah looked around for Perigo and Para. Silent crystal tears slipped down his cheeks. He clutched his belly tighter Soon, he began to sob. This was a nightly routine. Wake up, cry, pass out, repeat.
It had only been two months, the scars still evident; pain just demanding attention at all times. Noah was struggling. "My love, I miss you. What will Lembrar do without you? What will I do without you?" He cried till he passed out; like so many nights before. Crystal tears streamed down his face in his sleep. He dreamed of the day. Perigo fighting, Para caught in the crossfire. If only he had died alongside them. But, now with the baby, he wouldn't be alone. He had someone to rely on. Someone to love. Someone to call his home.
Though as the fates would have it, forever Noah would remain alone. What a terrible miscarriage.
