Worst birthday ever! Pt.2

I got up and shooed everybody but Abby out of my room. "C'mon Abz help me get ready please!" I begged "sure kiddo. Go shower and I'll get your new clothes." She told me. I got in the shower wet my hair and turned it off. I put in my shampoo and started brushing my hair with the shampoo in. I got back in and washed out my hair and put on shower gel. When I got out Abby was waiting for me.

she handed me the new outfit she got me and I put it on.

"Let's get your hair dried." She laughed at my frizz ball of hair. She dried my hair and complemented my pink ends. "The pinks really nice in your hair." I laughed as I remembered the day I died it. The girl Hannah was dying it for me and we keep in touch, she's 18. "Thanks I died it for cancer." She looked down and smiled. "For Aoife?" She asked "For Aoife." I opened my bedroom door and walked down the stairs. "Hey Paige is Kay's mom still picking you up?" Luke asked. "Yeah they'll be here at 7." "Okay well it's 6:50 so get your cereal and run!" He laughed I ate my cereal and gave each of the boys and Abby a hug before running out the door.

I ran to Kay's car and hopped in the back. "Hey Paige!" My friends greeted me. "Hey Kiki, Hey Jaice and good morning miss Taylor." "Hey it's Kay not Kiki!" Kay shouted at me."Kaitlyn Taylor do not shout in the car!" Miss Taylor scolded. Me and Jaice laughed at her. "So Pay, how ya' holdin' up?" Jaice asked me. His Green eyes Piercing into me. Jaice and Kaitlyn are twins and so alike it scares me. "Good I guess." I shrugged. We pulled up at the school building.

I got a text from Hannah.

Hannah: hey Pay wanna sit with us at lunch?

Paige: sure we'd love to! How's your last year going?

Hannah: it's going great! I'm gonna miss this place.

Paige: the locker bell just went gotta go x

Hannah: bye pay.

"Can we sit with Hannah today at lunch?" I ask my friends. "SURE!" They both say simmutaniosly. "That's creepy." I laugh. "Happy Birthday Pay!" The say again at the same time. "Thanks guys." "We're coming over after school to give you your presents" Jaice says. "But I gotta go to Soccer after school first so I'll be over at 4:30. "Mkay." I say as we walk to Science. On our way we met 'Eww Mckenzie. She kept pushing and shoving and calling me really bad things. At last we got to science class. Today we were do experiments and mine kinda' blew up.

It was lunch at last and a bunch of bad things were happening. My friends and I sat down beside Hannah and her friend Georgia.

"Ughh today's been a crap day! I blew up the science lab, I tripped and spraint my wrist in Gym class, I got a D+ in English and my phone went off in the middle of my French class! Could this day be any worse?" I complained to nobody in particular. But then Principal Jenkins walked up to our table.

"I didn't do it! I swear!" I say not even knowing what it was. "No dear, it's just you might want to come to my office. Your friends may come too." She told me and I looked at my friends "I'll stay here" Georgia says. "Hannah you go ahead." Hannah nodded as me, Jaice , Kay and her got up and walked to the office.

"Sit down dears" mrs. Jenkins told us.

We sat down and she looked at us sadly. I knew what was coming....

"I'm sorry Paige but the doctors tried everything they could.." I started crying.

"No! Not mum too! They can't do this to me and Luke! It's not fair!!!" I sobbed into my hands. "Luke is unable to drive as he is too upset so Hannah would you drive her home?" Hannah nods as Jaice lets me cuddle into him. It's not fair.

Jaice carries me out to Hannah's car, as I feel too weak to move.

"He sits me in the middle of the car and puts on my seat belt.he gets in on one side and Kay sits in the front with Hannah. I'm closer to Jaice than Kay.

"Jaice! It's not Fair!" I cry Into his shoulder. "Why did the other driver have to be drunk? Why isn't it me dead? Why? Jaice Why?" I sob harder. "I don't know Pay, but we'll always be here for you Okay?"

"Okay."

I fall asleep with my head on Jaice's chest. Before I'm fully asleep I hear Jaice whisper.

"I love this girl more than she'll ever know"
