Paige's P.O.V
Today was the day. February 8th. The day we went back to school after mid term. Also my birthday. I lay in bed just thinking of the day ahead of me. I couldn't wait to see Kay and Jace my two best friends. But I could wait to see Mckenzie. Mckenzie is the type of girl that can make a girl so beautiful feel uglier than a dirty pig.
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEAR PAIGE!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!!"
I heard 5 voices singing to me. The door opened and in walked Luke, Calum, Ashton, Michael and Abby with gifts in their hands.
"Thanks guys. You didn't have to get me any thing." I thanked them politely. "Of course we did Paige! It's you're 17th birthday!" Ashton chuckled. Most people are happy on their birthday, but I just miss mum and dad. They said mum didn't have long.
"Aww my Paigeys' finally 13!!" Luke says pretending to wipe tears away. I giggled.
"Open mine first!!! Open mine first!!!" Calum pleaded. "Okay, Okay! Calm yourself dude!" I laughed. He handed me a small box wrapped in lime green paper. I teared it open and opened the box. Inside was a necklace with a heart made of lime green gems. "Oh cal I love it!! I hugged him tightly. "Thank you!" I whispered. "No problem babygirl you deserve the best." I smiled. "Me next!!" Michael cheered from behind us. "Kay." He handed me a rectangular present wrapped in gold paper with a blue bow.
I opened it and it was the new C.O.D game. "oh my gosh I love it thanks Mikey!" I said and gave him a kiss on the cheek and a hug. "Hey how come I didn't get a kiss?" Calum looked at me with his puppy eyes. I walked over and planted a kiss on his nose.
"Mine now!" Abby laughed as she handed me the present. She got me A pink strap-fill top with denim shorts and pink converse high tops. "Aww thanks Abz! I'll wear these to school!" I hugged her. "Ashton's turn!" Ashton giggled. He bought me a pair of GHD hair straighteners and A Sephora nail polish set. "Thanks ash" I hugged him.
Luke looked at me. "Here you go my little penguin!" My face lit up once he called me penguin. He used to always call me that before he left for tour. I opened the present. I stared at the piece of paper in my hands. "NO FREAKING WAY!!!!" I started freaking out. "They're it here tomorrow!" Luke smirked. "YOU GOT ME A BABY GRAND?!" I always wanted my own piano!
"Yeah! now go get ready for school!"
Luke smiled.
