Part 6

Your pov

It's been about a month since me and Julia were taken from the underground. I've grown extremely close with Hange, Petra, Erwin, and Levi. "Y/n snap out of it!" Mia says punching my shoulder. Her and Ezra were taking me to the top of the walls so I could see the titans. "Sorry guess I just got lost in my thoughts." I rub the back of my neck and smile lightly. "Say y/n what'd you think about us getting married in a church?" A laugh escapes my lips. "Are you two trying to burst into flames on your wedding day?" Ezra laughs and Mia sighs. "I want a traditional wedding y/n!" "How about in the courthouse? We could decorate it with roses!" I suggest holding onto Mia's arm. They're supposed to get married on Saturday. "I like the sound of that   y/n." Earlier in the day Mia had asked me to be her maid of honor. I was extremely excited and accepted the offer.

I gaze into the open land in front of me. It was beautiful! Almost so beautiful that it took my attention of the titans in front of me. They mindlessly stood at the bottom of the wall and gazed upwards at us. Fear forms in my body. A fear that I haven't felt in a while. "Pretty dumb looking right?" Ezra asks poking at my side. "They're pretty much just mindless creatures who like to eat us." I gulp and look up at Ezra. "That doesn't really help Ez.." His smiles fades. "Don't tell me you're actually scared of these things! Come on!" "Yeah you're y/n
l/n! You're not scared of anything!" I step back from the edge of the wall and stick my hands in my pockets. "Hell no! I'm not scared!" I lied big time.

~time skip to the next day~

I grunt as Levi throws me to the ground yet again. "Levi that wasn't fair! I covered my mouth when I coughed!" I complain while laying on the ground. "I don't care. There was an opportunity and I took it. You should do the same as well brat." He holds out his hand to help me up. I grab hold of it and pull myself up then I throw Levi over my shoulder. There's a loud thud and a groan follows. "You said take the opportunity and I did." I turn around with a huge smirk plastered on my lips. "Brat." He mumbles causing me to giggle a bit. I reach my hand out to help Levi up he grabs it and pulls himself up. "We're leaving in a few minutes. I should get going." The entire survey Corp except me was going on an expedition outside the walls. I'm supposed to go on the next one in a few days. "Oh." I look down at my boots and fiddle with my fingers.

I hear Levi turn around and walk away. "Hey Levi?" I call to him causing him to stop. "What?" The leaves crunch underneath my feet as I walk. I stop a few inches away from him and look at the back of his head. "Be safe." Levi turns around and I notice the faintest smile on his thin lips. "You're telling me to be safe? Here I was thinking you hated my guts y/n." His arms dangle lazily beside him as he looks me in the eyes. Levis usual cold lifeless eyes were filled with a warm reassurance. "You've grown on me a lot." I lock my e/c eyes with his silver ones. "I'll be fine y/n." Levi reaches out and ruffles my hair. "I know." He goes to turn around once again but I stop him by hugging him tightly. "Please come back alive." Levi rests his hands on my hips and hugs me back lightly. "I will y/n don't worry." He pulls away with his normal emotionless face then walks away.

~time skip~

I sit on Julia's bed watching her color. My heart is filled with worry for all of my friends. I don't want any of them to die! "Y/n?" Julia taps my legs and knocks me out of my thoughts. "Yeah?" She smiles greatly and holds up a coloring of a puppy. "I made this for you!" I reach out my hand and take it. "It's beautiful! I'll hang it up on my wall with the others later tonight!" Julia smiles once again and throws her arms around my neck. "You're the greatest big sister ever y/n."

~time skip~

I pace in my room. They still weren't back yet..It's almost midnight! I stop pacing and search around my room for a jacket. Once I find one I slip it on over my grey long sleeved shirt and put on a pair of jeans then I slide on my shoes and head outside to wait for them. Two hours ago I had made sure Julia ate dinner and went to sleep. I could tell she was just as worried as I was. Jules refused to sleep so I had to stay in there with her until she finally gave in and let her drowsiness take over. Horses come into my view and my heart stops. I didn't see Ezra or Mia. Everyone else was there. My heart sinks and begins to ache. As I feel tears starting to form in my eyes I turn around and quickly wipe my eyes on my sleeve.

It's silent for what seems like forever before I turn around again. I grip onto my own sides for reassurance. Maybe I just missed them? I stand at the bottom of the stairs waiting for them to put up their horses. I began to shake with fear as I hear footsteps. I scan their tired faces for Ezra and Mia. "Ezra!" A small wave of relief washes over me when I see him. Ezra stops at the stairs in front of me.
"Y/n." He holds out his arms and I hug him tightly. Ezra lifts me off the ground and squeezes me even more. "Where's Mia?" I whisper in his ear. "Don't worry y/n she's feeding the horses." "Thank god."
