-The Reality-
[Ethan pov]
What??? That was the first thing that popped into my mind. I couldn’t of possibly of heard her correctly. But at the movies she did agree that we would be a cute couple.
By this time I had thrown on my boxer briefs and some jeans. I found a shirt and pulled it over my head as I ran down the stairs and into the kitchen.
Av was sitting on the counter picking at the brownies that my mom must have made. Damn, she looked hot. Her hair was up in a messy bun on her head and her tee was hanging off one shoulder so you could see her bra strap.
I quickly looked away realizing I had been staring for a while.
“You like what you see?” Av said very confidently looking up at me with her gorgeous green eyes that were crystal clear.
“You like that counter over these very comfortable chairs?” I said while pulling out a chair from the kitchen table.
“Nope I am fine where I am, thank you very much.” She paused and then opened her mouth to saying something only to shut it.
“What were you going to say?”
“N-nothing. Can you make some chocolate chip pancakes, pretty please.” She sat there batting her eyelashes while flashing me the cheesiest smile ever.
I walked over and placed my hands on either side of her on the counter. I leaned into her ear and whispered. “Of course I can.”
I went to back up when she put her hands on my waist.
“Wait.” She said so faint I thought she hadn’t even spoken.
She just looked back between my eyes and my lips. She pulled me forward and kissed me. She started to use more force and I kissed her like I have never kissed anyone before. I moved one hand to the back of her head keeping her to me, and put the other on her leg slowly making soothing circles with my thumb.
A moan escaped from her and I bit her bottom lip begging for entrance. She moved her hands to my chest and pulled my shirt moving me closer if that was even possible. I turned our kiss into a French easily, granting me another moan from her beautiful lips. She slipped her hands up my shirt rubbing my abs and I moaned. I pulled away first looking her in the eyes.
“Why are you doing this?” I took her face in my hands making her look at me.
“Because I...”
“You what, tell me please.”
She pulled my hands from her face and held them in her lap. She let out a sigh, smiled and then looked back up at me.
“Because Ethan, I’m in love with you.” Av looked away most likely afraid to see my reaction.
“Really?” I must have sounded pretty happy because she turned and looked at me with a smile. Then it quickly faded as fast as it had appeared.
“Why aren’t you ripping my head off?’
“What, why would I do that?”
She jumped off the counter and started pacing back and forth. I leaned on the counter where she had been sitting moments ago.
“Cause I am your best friend, well probably not anymore, and I jeopardized our friendship and ruined everything and you want me out of your house. So I’ll go pack my things and be gone and you never have to see me again. You can forget this ever happened, I’ll erase your number and you can forget about me. Th-“I stepped forward and put my hand over her mouth stopping her ramble.
