-I’m where?-
[Kadin pov]
It was going on like 9 o’clock now and I needed a drink. We had been driving around for hours now trying to find somewhere to eat. We had given up on the whole ‘where the hell are we’ thing and decided food was more important than location. But at the time I didn’t even care about food, I just wanted a damn drink. So I found this run down looking diner/bar thing and pulled over.
“Are you sure this is safe? This place looks like a ghost town.” Av had on a look of utter confusion mixed with seriously?
I laughed not at her, but with her. “I have no clue. If we make it out alive than I guess its fine.”
“Okay let’s do this, I trust you to beat up all of the ghost zombies. If it’s even possible for them to be dead/alive out here.”
I busted into the biggest smile ever and she started laughing so hard I was gonna pee my pants. I got out of the car and went to open her door.
“Come on I’ll protect you from the big bad invisible non-existent ghost zombies. I just need a drink, and you need to eat.”
She hoped out of the Jeep and I shut the door.
“You are gonna drink? You are 19 how do you get away with it?”
“It’s called a fake id. They work pretty well for handsome people like me.”
“Did you just compliment yourself? I think you are in love with yourself.”
“Maybe, maybe not. I’ll find out later, right now I am gonna get a drink.”
We had made it to the door and she went in first. Despite the 2 cars in the parking lot this place was packed. Maybe there was another lot in the back?
“Can you get me something?” she asked staying close to me.
“Yeah you want something to eat? I’ll grab a men-“ She grabbed my arm and pulled me closer.
“No I mean a drink, I want a drink.” I held her by her elbows pulling her closer.
“You want me to get you a drink? Are you sure?”
“Yes I am sure. Please, I need something to calm me down.” I looked away and sighed.
“You know there are other ways to calm down?” She pulled my face to look at her.
“If I can’t have a drink, then you aren’t allowed one either.”
I quickly pulled her over to the bar.
“Alright, what the hell do you want to drink?”
“I don’t know. I have never had alcohol before. What’s good?”
I looked down at her and was suddenly unsure if this was a good idea. Oh sure it was.
“Alright how about we just get you a beer? Sound okay?” She shook her head and I ordered two beers.
5 minutes later I had taken 3 sips, while hers was gone. Maybe we should leave. Nope, I’m good.
“You feel alright over there? I think you need to slow it down.”
“I am fine, can you get me another one?” She was batting her eyelashes at me, damn stupid pout face.
“Fine. But only 1 more, then we are leaving.” I went up to the bartender and ordered two more.
