Introduction

He rushed into the hospital, "Emma!"

It had all been a blur, her words, the crash, the sounds he heard. Everything was perfectly fresh in his mind, but it still looked like a fuzzy picture. Like a dream.

He saw her, through the huge glass doors of the emergency room. The white lights in the room made her look pale and lifeless.

They wouldn't let him in to see her, and yet they we're fucking married. If they don't let family in, that means it's something bad, right?

He walked up the crystal doors, pressing his hands agaisnt them. "I'm sorry..I'm so sorry..." He whsipered. His breath fogging the glass as a single tear slid down his cheek.
