The song I used for this chapter was Mr Brightside by The Killers
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I felt warm hands grip my waist and I began to move closer to the person who held me.
I would be lying if I said I wasn't at least buzzed and enjoying tonight. Of course the being drunk part was the only thing that really made tonight in anyway fun, but at least it was somewhat enjoyable.
I danced with his guys hands on my hips for awhile and finally turned around, seeing a random guy looking me up and down.
He looked a little gross and honestly the way he was gazing at me made me feel a little nauseous.
So after the song ended I pulled away from him and headed towards the door, needing fresh air.
Someone tried to offer me a drink as I walked past but I pushed it away, feeling sick at the idea of more liquor.
I shoved my way out the door and found my way out into the cool air.
I hadn't realized how hot it was in the rec room until I got outside.
I heaved in a big breath and say against the hard wall of the stadium.
"You okay?"
I jumped at the surprise voice and looked over to see Luke walking out of the door, and making his way towards me.
"Yeah," I said, "I'm fine, I just needed air,"
He nodded, pointed at the ground next to me and lifted an eyebrow, as if asking permission to sit next to me.
I nodded lightly and he took a seat right next to me.
His hands were fidgeting in his lap and I grinned, because I did that too when I talked to new people.
"Sorry, I kinda followed you out of the party," he said, abruptly.
I lifted my eyebrows and I saw his cheeks darken in the dim light.
It was dark outside but the stadium had small lights illuminating the side of the building, giving me a slight view of Luke, but not a great one.
"Yeah I just, you- uh, you looked like you were gonna be sick, or um, or something, and I just, I uh, wanted to make sure you were alright," he mumbled quickly.
"Are you always this articulate?" I asked, laughing at all of his ums and uhs.
He chuckled and said "yeah,"
We sat in silence for a bit before I decided to speak.
"Thank you for checking on me, no one else would be that kind," I said, turning to him and smiling.
"You're welcome," he smiled back at me and I felt his hand shift on the ground next to me, touching my leg lightly.
Where his skin touched mine I felt tingly and I wondered at how drunk I was exactly.
"Hey do you mine taking a selfie with me? My sister wanted proof that I was actually making friends," I said, grabbing my phone from my pocket.
"I don't know, I wouldn't want to make her believe I'm your friend, that would just be a lie," he said and I laughed, pushing his shoulder lightly with mine.
He grinned back at me and grabbed my phone from my hands.
He leaned into me and I pushed my head against his, making a silly face.
As soon as he pulled it back I grabbed the phone to send the picture before I forgot.
I sent the picture with the caption 'this guy is not my friend,' and put my phone away.
"I think I'm gonna head back to the bus," I said, moving to my knees in an attempt to get up.
Luke quickly got up before me and offered a hand.
I smiled at him and took his hand, pulling hard to get myself up quickly.
He pulled harder and when I came up my balance was completely off and I accidentally fell onto him.
He caught my waist as I flew into him and I grabbed onto his shirt to steady myself.
"I'm sorry," I breathed, trying to right myself.
"It's fine,"
When I looked back up Luke's face was inches from mine and his hands were still on my waist.
Maybe part of it was being drunk and the other part was how he slightly leaned in but the next thing I knew I was kissing him.
My arms around his neck and his hands pulling my waist into him.
I pulled at his hair lightly and his hands traveled up and down my back, making me shiver.
His lips were soft but his hands were rough and his lip ring against my mouth was driving me absolutely crazy. I wanted to keep kissing him forever.
And then we heard a voice.
"Luke?"
