General POV
He watched from his window as the new neighbours came in. He didn't really care but wanted to know if there were any new kids his parents were going to force him he was going to meet. There seemed to be none, but then he took a closer look and saw a little girl walk out. She was looking around at the sky for some odd reason and managed to lock eyes with him. She smiled, and he smiled back. As much as he didn't like talking to new people, he didn't want to be mean to a kid.
That's how he was like. His parents would go on and on about the fact that despite he was "nine years old, he was so mature for his age".
"Yoongi!" His mother called from downstairs. He got up and lazily made his way down. "Ah, good. You aren't asleep. Get ready, we're going to help the neighbours move in. They're from Japan and as far as I know, the mother is the fluent speaker,". He nodded and changed into something presentable before going with his parents.
It was dusk, a few stars visible. and the little girl was sitting outside on the porch. She seemed to be holding a small camera, taking way too many pictures at fun. The girl looked up and immediately bowed.
"Konbanwa! Watashi wa Eui to imasu!* Nihongo wa hanasemasu ka?**" She greeted as she stood upright again. Yoongi looked puzzled. He turned to his parents, who spoke very little Japanese and the smiled at the girl. Her parents came out and the mother greeted them formally before introducing herself and letting everyone inside.
"I'm Tsubaki-Kim Sung. This is my husband, Makao and my daughter, Eui. It's very nice to meet you," The adults began to converse with each other while the little girl looked lost and decided to go outside again. Noticing how the adults didn't notice, Yoongi decided to go after the girl, after all, it was unsafe for anyone to go out this late at night by themselves, especially little children.
"Hello? My name...Eui...Am...4...old?" She tried to introduce herself.
"I'm Yoongi. I am nine years old," He replied, correcting her a bit. The girl smiled and suddenly everything disappeared.Yoongi woke up. He had his alarm set for today. It had been earlier than usual and he wanted to make sure that everything went according to plan. He had dug out one of his old phones from the mess they called their room and searched the contacts for an old number. Once he found it, he went to wake up Taehyung's sister, Mi-Hi.
* Good evening! My name is Eui
**Do you speak Japanese?
