"Don't you dare touch her!" Mi-Hi yelled as Hyeon recovered from the blow she inflicted on him. He glared at the older girl before moving to shove her out the door, but Eui stopped him.

"Hyeon-ssi! Leave her alone! And Mi-Hi-chan, please don't let this escalate... I don't want any problems that could mean me being fired..." Eui pleaded as she stood in between the two. Mi-hi huffed annoyed, but agreed and asked Eui to drop her off. Eui, out of relief, accepted the offer and took one glance at her co-worker before walking out of her office with her best friend.

Surprisingly, Yoongi was there when Eui unlocked the door to her house, but, following Mi-Hi's lead, she ignored him, knowing that he definitely had something to do with the letter sent to her earlier. Suga also seemed indifferent to the two girls ignoring him almost as if he knew it was coming and continued to scroll through whatever website he was looking through on his laptop.
The two girls went into Eui's room and the younger of them gave the other some clothes to wear. Afterwards, the two sat down, not really saying anything, when Mi-Hi woke up.
"Eui-chan...Can you...Tell me why you ran away from home? The whole story, but you don't have to if you don't want to," She asked. Eui bit her lip before looking at her unnie.

Eui POV
I looked at nee-san* before closing my eyes. "When we moved to Daegu, I was always alone. In school, apart from Yoongi-kun in the short time he and I studied in the same school, no one really took me in because I didn't know Korean fluently. And when I did speak, I had an accent, I still do, and so I got teased for that," I told her," The teasing escalated into bullying by the time I was in my last year of elementary school, and then I usually avoided all of my peers. Appa died when I was seven, and the only thing I have of him are memories and the old camera I never let anyone touch," I continued, "Before he died, Ka-san** was diagnosed with depression and that caused her to... I don't know... get angry a lot and she'd often lash out at me. Appa was usually always there to stop her from hitting me, and I usually would sit outside the house taking pictures or doing homework while they argued. That's how I ended up actually becoming friends with Yoongi-kun because he'd often find me alone at night outside and usually would sneak me into his room and let me crash there. After Appa died, there was no one to stop Ka-san from hitting me, and she'd often use belts too. At that point, Yoongi was aware that my mother often lashed out at me, but he didn't know that she hit me, so he was around a lot too, but that didn't last as he is a few years older than me and also, he had to come here to join BTS. Ka-san got worse and worse, and as soon as I was old enough, I started saving up so that I could move somewhere else. I didn't care about school, my grades were so low- well except for things like art and music and stuff like that- and I had already been offered a small job at Starship Galleries. I took the chance as soon as I turned Sixteen and ran away to Seoul. I knew Oppa-kun would be here, and I did hope I might meet him sometime soon, and that happened, but I didn't realise he was going to be really famous. I... wish that Appa was still alive... or at least, I had someone with me all the way..." I finished off, letting my tears fall into my lap as Mi-Hi embraced me as an older sister would.
"Eui, you're not the only one with a rough past," And with that, she told me her story. We were both weeping messes by the end of it and had a good crying session, where we pretty much vowed to always help each other out and be there no matter what. What I didn't realise was that Yoongi was listening to our every word from the other side of the sliding doors of my bedroom.

I didn't pay much attention to Yoongi as I and Mi-Hi were making food. He had gone to his dorm and returned with jimin, and so now we were talking.
"Eui? Can you show me any new edits? Or have you not had the time to do that yet?" Jimin asked me. I froze and so did Mi-Hi. Yoongi looked up at us expectantly.
"Well, you see..." I trailed off.
"Apparently, you guys preferred Hyeon over her so Bighit decided to fire her and rid her of the only job that's ever meant so much to her!" Mi-Hi huffed as she turned her back to the to guys over on the couch.
"But how? We usually always went to you for if we ever needed anything extra! How on earth did you get fired?" Jimin rushed into the kitchen and grabbed my shoulders and hugged me. I blushed at the gesture and returned his affection shyly, as I saw Mi-Hi smirk from the corner of my eye.
"jimin-Oppa, it's fine... I got the letter and anyways, Hyeon is good enough for you all," I smiled sadly as I began to take the food into the living room, where Yoongi was sitting down and staring at the clock.
"No, it's not. We never asked for this, so why did it happen?" He turned to Yoongi, "Hyung, did you know about this?"
Yoongi shook his head and looked at me, but I refused to return his gaze. "Hyung, why do you think this happened?"
Jimin was mumbling to himself and then Mi-Hi called Yoongi into the kitchen. He slowly trailed behind her and after a small while, I heard a pan clattering and him shouting.
"Eui! Why the hell did you not tell me before?!" He yelled at me, emerging from the kitchen. I froze in fear, suddenly reminded of the way ka-san would yell at me when I was little. Jimin saw and wrapped an arm around me, before feeding me some food.
"Don't you dare ignore me! Do you wanna know what happened to the letter? I have a hunch! It was Hyeon. That bastard Yandere* forged it!" HE spat before putting his shoes on and slamming the door shut as he left.
