Eui POV
I tousled my hair a bit, making sure it didn't look too messy underneath my beanie, and headed out, grabbing Appa's camera on the way. I smiled at his picture and left my small home. I greeted Oba-Chan*, the kind landlady, before slipping my shoes on and walking to the bus stop. As I passed the house next to me, I saw the neighbours, seven guys, and I waved politely at the shortest, who was the only one to notice me. I continued on my way but not long after, the same person greeted me.
"Hello! You're our neighbour?" He said. He was wearing a face mask that covered most of his face, but thanks the way his eyes crinkled behind his bangs, I guessed he was smiling.
"It appears so!" I returned the gesture.
"What's your name?" He continued as we stepped onto the bus.
"My name? I'm Eui," I replied.
"Eui? Nice name! Can I ask you something?"
"Of course"
"How come you have an accent? Are you a foreigner?"
"Well, I was born in Japan and moved to Daegu when I was four. I recently moved here so I guess I'm picking up bits from each accent," I said as I pressed the buzzer. My stop came and I said goodbye to the stranger, but not before he stopped me and asked one last question.
"Hey, do you know who I am?" I shook my head and he continued," I'm Jimin, but you can call me Chimchim!" I smiled and got off the bus, making sure I had all my belongings and saying thank you to the driver.

I smiled at the receptionist in Starship Galleries. He gave me my badge before I walked into the small studio I was assigned into.
"Hey, Hyeon!" I smiled to my colleague. We were both put together as a duo thanks to our skills; I was better at natural lighting and editing while he specialised in angles and different filters that can add effects.
"Good morning, Eui. How are you?" He grinned as he handed me a portfolio. I skimmed through the photographs, my eyes widening.
"I'm good. But not as good as these! They're amazing!" I said as I handed them back to him. The only difference was that because he had worked in the gallery for a longer period of time, he was the one to get the more prestigious and famous clients. Recently, he helped out with one of those Kpop groups, EXO I think.
"Ah, well. Nothing could be as amazing as you," He winked. I laughed and we began to work on our individual tasks.
I was looking for some polaroid film when I stumbled across a box labelled 'Daegu'. That raised my curiosity, so I opened it and carefully dug inside. I took out a stack of photos but dropped them back in. I had forgotten I'd put these here. They were all pictures I had either taken myself or someone had taken for me back when I lived with Ka-San*. I sighed as I came across a few of Oppa-Kun. Oh wait, you don't know who he is do you? Well, his name is Min Yoongi, and he was my very first friend, despite the half-decade age gap between us. I remember the days when I'd sleep over at his house because my parents used to fight, and how he'd drop me off to school first, even if it meant him being late as a result. I smiled a little at the memory but then the curve of my lip saddened. I hadn't heard from him in five years.
Flashback
"Oppa-Kun! Guess what! Guess what!" I exclaimed happily as I made my way out of the school gates. He was waiting for me by the gates like he usually did, and took his hands out of his pockets when he saw me. "I got top marks!" I continued excitedly as he took my bag, despite my protests.
"Really? Hey, I have something to tell you too!" He didn't look excited, but the look in his eyes said otherwise. I prodded him to continue," Well, you remember the auditions I participated in a while back, right? Well, I got in!" I smiled at him and we had ice cream to celebrate.
"So, you have to go to Seoul, right?" I asked. I knew he'd have to move, but as long as he was happy there, we could still be friends right? He nodded his head and I continued to eat my ice cream.
"You'll be okay, right? Especially after..."
"I#ll be fine! You should go!"
Time Skip To When yoongi Leaves
"Don't forget me Oppa-Kun!" I yelled as I waved goodbye to him. He gave me one of his gummy smiles and boarded the bus.
"I won't!" He mouthed once he sat down by a window.
Back To The Present
"Eui! Eui!" I snapped out of my thoughts as Hyeon waved his hand in my face.
"Yes?" I said.
"Are you going on your break now or do you wanna go together?" He asked.
"I don't mind," I replied. He smiled and helped me up. We then went to have lunch.

We were sat in a small cafe when I saw a girl walk in. She looked about my age and came in with a guy with her. He looked very familiar, despite the face mask, but I didn't care really, so I continued with my coffee, editing photos on my phone. Hyeon had gone to use the restroom and I was alone when I felt a tap on my shoulder. I looked up and saw...Chimchim? I think that was his name...or was it Jimin? Well, either way, it was him.
"Hey! It's you! Eui, my neighbour!" His eyes crinkled again.
"Hello again!" I smiled.
"So, what's a pretty girl like you doing here on her own? Do you mind if I sit down?" I gestured to the chair next to me before replying.
"I'm not on my own. I'm here with my coworker on break,"
"Woah! So am I!" He said, taking his facemask off.
"Can I ask you again, do you know who I am?" He said, looking around. I shook my head. "That's good. I'm here with my Hyung! We were supposed to be getting food to eat but then we saw our other Hyung and decided to spy on them!" He said, pointing at the girl I saw and the guy with her. I laughed at his playfulness.
"Oh, Hyeon! I hope you don't mind, but my neighbour, Jimin, is here. Is it alright if he and his friend join us?" I asked, as Hyeon stared at jimin before licking his lips and sitting down.
"Of course," Was his simple reply. We began talking and I found out that Jimin was from Busan, had a brother and currently lived with six other people who were in a band with him. After a while, his friend came looking for him. I looked up and caught his eye. Those eyes... why were they so familiar?

Suga POV
Where was the shorty? I was looking for Jimin.=, since he was getting us a well-hidden table, and I finally spotted him. BUT he was sitting with two other people. One was a guy, around his age maybe, while the other was a girl. I couldn't really see her as she had her back to me, but I didn't really care either. I sighed and went to them. I was about to hit Jimin on the head because he hadn't noticed me coming when I saw the girl's face. Why was it so familiar? I caught her eye and held her gaze. Her eyes returned to Jimin, who was busy flirting with her. I smacked the back of his head and handed him his cup.
"Hyung! That hurt!" He whined.
"Well, too bad," I grumbled as I stayed standing.
"Would you want to sit down?" The guy said. I could feel the exasperation in his tone. What did the pabo midget do this time? Usually, it was the make or V causing trouble...
"So, are you one of the guys Jimin was talking about?" The girl asked. I was surprised but kept my usual blank face. I sat down slowly and looked at Jimin for an explanation.
"This is our neighbour! And guess what! She doesn't know who we are!" He said excitedly. that was a first. Most people in Seoul know who we are...
She smiled and got up to leave soon after. Apparently, her break had ended. I hadn't asked for her name. "Her name is Eui and she's from Daegu too!" Jimin said out of the blue. I was surprised. That name... I had been recalling a lot about her recently but it was probably just a coincidence, right? I mean, I was her next door neighbour back then and now too? Eui isn't a common name, but isn't it used enough? But wait... the girl I know is too young to have a full-time job, and the last time I saw her, she didn't have two on her upper ear...but weren't those earrings similar to the ones I had bought her? It couldn't be...could it?

*Oba-Chan is a cute way if addressing your grandmother in Japanese. It can be used for elderly women whom you are familiar with too, but then it would be 'san' instead of 'chan'.
*Ka-San is a way of addressing your mother in Japanese. you can also say 'Ka-chan' and 'Ka-sama'.
