His Perspective

Yoongi didn't know how to feel. He had left her and missed her a lot, using her as a muse when he needed to compose about heartbreak and such. Now she was back but as his photographer. He didn't know why he was feeling this way, but he knew what he was feeling. He was attracted to Eui, more than that, he was in love with her... he always had been...

Ever since he first knew her as the annoying girl who always sat on her porch in the evenings, he grew attached to her. When she became a quiet and abused girl in school and home, he wanted to protect her. When she became the girl who lost one of the only people who loved her, he wanted to show her his love. The only annoyingly logical problem that had only occurred to him when she moved into his life again, was the fact that he was five years older than her.

He sighed. He had kept up the excuse that he couldn't sleep in the dorms as they were too loud so that he could sleep next to her. But she began to ignore him, him and his advice, and that made him furious. He secretly wrote more songs all about her, how he wanted to confess and our out all his feelings regarding her. The only thing that had stopped him was the events that followed her becoming his photographer.

In all honesty, he didn't care that she didn't complete her education, more concerned for her well being really, and enjoyed it when she took pictures of the boys or filmed them goofing around. He loved to see her doing the thing she loved. It was music to his ears her laugh, and it inflated him like a helium balloon when she flashed a smile at him here and there. He loved it when at the end of the day, she'd snuggle up next to him out of habit and regain lost hours of sleep.

There was the incident with her coworker. Yoongi could tell easily that Hyeon had an interest in Eui, but much to his ease and dismay, Eui was unaware. He was furious when he tried to force himself onto the girl all those months ago, so much that it took all he had not to hurt him. He made sure to keep her away from him after that, but that didn't work, and he realised, he was getting too attached to Eui.

Yoongi came up with a plan to make himself stop loving her. He began to distance himself from her but still slept in the same house as her. He didn't like it when she brought Yesung onto her house. He didn't like the way she looked at him and ignored Eui. But he was the one, for some odd reason, to convince Bang-PD-Nim to hire her. He guessed he thought he could fall for Yesung, who seemed alright enough. He tried to bring as much distance as he could between him and Eui, but much to his dismay, he noticed how Yesung would bully her a lot...

"Yoongi-Oppa, can I ask you something?" Yesung came up to him one day, "Will you go out with me?"

Yoongi was taken aback and didn't reply for a while, "Why me?"

"Because I like you... and if you don't, I might as well kill Eui. That bug has been biting me for too long," Was her short reply, all the while examining her nails.

"You do realise that I can get you fired and prosecuted for what you've just said, right?" He said, trying to ward her off.

"And do you realise that I have strong relations within the law and police and if you do anything like that, Eui will definitely be gone," She smiled sickeningly sweetly, "And so will this damn company. In case you didn't realise, my father is one of the shareholders of this firm, and one phone call from me will be the end".

"Fine, I'll go out with you," He sighed after a long while of thinking. He couldn't risk hundreds of people's lives like that. He'd make sure to take care of Eui in his own way.

"And you better be loyal," Yesung threatened, clawing Yoongi's pale face. He peeled her hand off only to have her smirk and smash her entire body against his and 'kiss' him. It seemed more like a lioness eating up her prey.

He noticed Yesung continue to bully Eui at the MAMA after party, but this time, he caught her staring at him, a clear warning not to intervene. He sighed and did as she signalled him to. Once he got home, he did try to talk to her, but she didn't hold up that much of a conversation with him either way. While Eui was out doing the groceries, Yesung came over and spend half an hour arguing with Yoongi.

"Oppa, you betrayed me! Why would you stay here instead of my place?" She whined, smirking as she climbed on top of him.

Yoongi ran a hand through his hair out of discomfort. "I'm here 'cause I wanna be. Leave me alone, and don't you have a job to go to?"

"Well, I get a day off because apparently, I've been working hard," She straddled him, rendering andy surprise movement useless.

"Just get the f**k off of me!" Yoongi growled.

"Nope!" She cackled as she began yet another angry makeout session.

Much to Yoongi's dismay, Eui walked in on them, and he didn't let his eyes leave her every movement. He wanted her to notice, to help him get her off, but she clearly avoided his gaze, as well as the sight of the two of them.

The three of them began to argue before Yesung threw Eui out of the house.

"Why the hell would you do that?!" Yoongi yelled. He was about to go after her when Yesung grabbed him by the shoulder.

"Make one more move," She whispered, showing him her phone screen. It had her fatehrs number ready to dial.

It was killing Yoongi. Eui hadn't been home at all, or even tried to knock on the door. Yoongi found it hard to concentrate, so he asked Mi-Hi.
"She went back to Daegu. Her mother called, Jimin and she broke up and I don't know the rest. You should leave her be... it's better for both of you," She said. Yoongi nodded and left. He felt empty and not wanting to do anything. As much as he felt hollow, he couldn't help but feel a little happy at the fact that Jimin was out of the picture.
A month had passed and Mi-Hi was going to graduate, so they all held a party for her. Namjoon wasn't there as the two were in some sort of situation but, much to Yoongi's relief, Eui was.
After Eui left, Yoongi's mother called.
"Yoongi, how are you? Is Eui back?" She asked.
"I'm good, and yes she's back. How is everything back home?"
"That's good to hear. Not very good. Sung died of cancer and that's why I called about Eui. Please take care of her,"
"I will, I always have,"
"That's good to hear. I won't keep you any longer, so I'll hang up. Stay healthy!"
And she hung up. Yoongi was taken aback. Had her mother died? That's why she was in Daegu?

It was a bad idea to let Yesung talk to Eui, and of course he knew it, but Yesung but how was he to know it would escalate into this? Apparently, Yesung was going to apologise, but he knew she wouldn't do just that... so he followed the two of them to the bridge. He didn't expect Yesung to leave without doing anything. neither did he expect to see Eui cry.
He tapped her shoulder and clearly surprised her. She began to pour out years of pain and anger and sadness and bottled up emotions, and her mind clearly went blank as she began to climb onto the handrail.
"Eui! Kid, stop!" He tried to get her to stop with the only way possible... standing with her and holding onto her like a little kid and their blanket.
"Yoongi Oppa, just let her fall!" Yesung's voice ran through his ears.
"No!" He growled, holding the crying girl tighter.
"Fine, then I'll push both of you off!" And she did exactly that.
Yoongi held onto both the bridge and Eui, who wasn't crying anymore but frantically looking around. He squeezed his eyes shut to concentrate on holding onto the bridge, of which his hands were slipping.
"Oppa-kun...let go," Eui said all of a sudden.
"What? Are you crazy? The water-" Yoongi began, ticked off that she would suggest such a stupid idea.
"LET GO!!" She yelled louder
"Eui, if I let go, we both fall," He tried to reason with her.
"That's the point," She said.
"But the water... The current of the river is too fast and you know it," He tried again, clearly failing. His fingers slipped even more and he was holding on painfully with just his little and ring finger.
"Do you trust me?" Eui gasped.
"Yes, but-"
"Do you trust me?" She said again, more firmly this time.
"Yes, I do," Yoongi sighed, desperate to keep her alive but clearly he'd have to listen to her. He didn't have a choice either as he was holding on with only one finger now.
"Then let go," She repeated. Yoongi looked at her, meeting her glassy brown eyes. He closed his eyes and let go, holding onto her as the two pummeled into the raging waves.
