Why Newton? - A Cazzie One Shot (Mixie) Atypical

Izzie kept on asking herself "Why Newton? Why do you have to mess up my emotions!!" Whenever she was talking to Casey.

A few months ago a new girl named Casey Gardner was transferred from Newton to Clayton. Izzie heard about how Casey punched a girl in the face at her old school. It was a bad reputation for Clayton. And what bugged Izzie the most was how fast she was. And how she was better than Izzie at track. Izzie didn't want Casey to become the star player. Izzie didn't want to be second, after all second was the first loser. But as the months went by Izzie couldn't resist not to be next to Casey. She thought that they were really good friends and she wanted to hang out with Casey. But it was more. Izzie wanted to be around Casey because she was attracted to her.

Whenever they touched Izzie got butterflies in her stomach. When every Casey talked she listened to every word she said.

"Hey Newton" Izzie smirked. Casey rolled her eyes and slapped Izzie's binder to the ground. "Thanks a lot Newton!"

"Don't call me that anymore and I'll stop slapping your binder to the ground" Casey replied walking to Bio.

"Sorry Newton but I won't ever stop calling you that" Izzie said taking a seat next to her.

"I swear you two are going to leave me in the dark and start dating" Nate dropped his binder on to the desk in back of Izzie.

"Haha Nate, so funny" Casey replied looking back of him. He just had a grin on his face. The bell rang and Mr. Ryan walked in.

"Open up to page 25 in your textbooks!" Casey opened her textbook up and her jaw dropped.

"What's the matter Newton, you okay?" Nate asked poking a pencil at Casey's arm.

"Ouch, use the eraser side if you want to get my attention or just ask me!" Casey whispered. "And you guys are sure this is Bio and not AP?"

"Pretty sure" Izzie whispered back.

"Well I guess that I'm dumb then" Casey sighed and started to read her textbook.

"This school is so weird" Casey exclaimed.

"No shit sherlock" Izzie replied.

"Hey! I like this school!" Nate said. He was sweaty from gym class.

"Yuck, you smell terrible! And it's a known fact that this school is odd" Casey slammed her locker.

"Hey I met my two favorite girls here!" Nate said bringing Casey and Izzie into a hug.

"NO WAY ARE YOU HUGGING ME IN YOUR SWEAT!" Izzie screamed but it was too late. Nate already had them both in a hug.

"Great. Now I have to a shower for the third time today" Casey snapped but Nate just chuckled.

"So Casey, how are things with Evan?" Izzie asked. She really didn't like talking about Evan because he was dating Casey but there was an awkward silence between them and she was just trying to make conversation.

"Amazing! He is the best boyfriend! How's Nate?" Izzie sighed. Izzie really didn't want to be dating Nate but she didn't want to break his heart.

"Okay" Izzie replied.

"Well I invited him over to watch a movie" Izzie groaned, she didn't want to see Nate.

"Come on Izzie! You barely will see him anyway! You fall asleep 10 minutes into the movie!"

"I Will not!" Izzie fought back. She heard Nate knock on the door.

"Oh really" Casey smiled before she opened the door to let Nate in.

About fifteen minutes into the movie Izzie fell asleep.

"So how's the boyfriend."

"You know his name!"

"Alright, how's Evan?" Things were not going well with them.

"Okay."

"If you need anybody to talk to, we are here. Well, I'm here because Izzie is passed out on the couch" Casey laughed.

"You guys are awesome, thanks for being my first friends at Clayton" Casey admitted. Then Nate leaned in and tried to kiss her. "WHAT ARE YOU DOING! NATE YOUR DATING IZZIE!" Now Casey and Nate were standing up.

"COME ON! DON'T YOU SEE THAT THERE IS SOMETHING BETWEEN US! I'M REALLY CONFUSED!" Nate yelled back.

"Get out Nate" Casey murmered.

"Come on Casey."

"Get out!"

After Casey told Izzie what happened between Nate and her Izzie had to ignore her. She knew she was telling the truth but Nate was blackmailing her. He said that if she didn't do what he said, he would kick her out of Clayton. He was ruining her life. And Casey's. Today was her birthday and Casey's mom invited her to come over. Even though Casey won't want Izzie to come but she wanted to try and fix things with her.

When Izzie entered the house Casey was dancing with her friends. Izzie thought she looked adorable dancing. Then Casey saw her. Butterflies flew through Izzie's stomach. While Casey got pissed off when she saw her.

"What are you doing here! You ruined my birthday!" Casey snapped running up the stairs. Izzie followed her. Casey slammed the door to her room. Izzie knocked.

"Go away Elsa!" Izzie opened the door. "Oh it's you, just go away, didn't you hear me!" Casey snapped.

"Casey let me explain!"

"Explain what? You ignoring me for the past few weeks and writing slut on my shoes!" Casey yelled. Izzie sat on her bed.

"Casey! I was a being a dick and I got jealous and I was afraid of losing somebody that I love" Izzie looked at Casey.

"I would never come in between you and Nate!"

"Screw him! I was afraid" Izzie paused. "I was afraid of losing you."

"Oh" Casey simply replied.

"Before you got to Clayton, I felt like I was out of place, like I couldn't be myself and with Nate our lives are so different."

"Cause he's a douche and your not."

"YES!" Casey bit her lip and smiled.

"And then we got into that big fight and we stopped talking I missed you, I like really, really, missed you and I just want you back Casey" She gave a small smiled to Izzie before getting a bit closer to Izzie. "Sorry if that sounds stalkerish" Casey laughed.

"It does, but I feel the same, so it's cool" Izzie bit her lip, it was now or never.

"So let's forehead promise to never do it again" Izzie said with a smile.

"Okay" Casey replied. "What even is that?"

"Okay, I'll show you" Izzie and Casey got close to each other and Izzie put her forehead on Casey's. They started laughing. "Is it obvious that I just made this up" she said before they got back to giggling. When they stopped Izzie leaned a bit closer to Casey. And they kept on getting closer to each to each other and Casey suddenly had an urge to kiss Izzie. Then Izzie bit her lip before placing her lips on Casey's, filling the gap between them.
