Laser Tag- (Waffle) - (No Specific Story)

"I don't think laser tag is a good idea."

"Just shut up and follow me."

He closed his mouth instantly and laughed at her determination, following behind her in long strides as she trudged to the desk.

"Hello. One laser tag please!" The woman at the counter immediately looked confused, and he almost laughed at how adorable his girlfriend looked, staring at the woman like she couldn't believe she didn't understand. Her eyebrows were drawn together and she was frowning.

He simply put his hands on her shoulders and pushed her gently next to her. "Sorry about that. One game for two, please." He heard a gentle huff from next to him and smiled down at her frowning face.

"Why didn't you let me do it?" She asked as they walked to the entrance. "You know how I am when I talk to people sometimes. I realized 'one laser tag' didn't make any sense."

He just chuckled and pulled her against him when they stood inside the entrance, no longer able to see her well due to the fluorescent lights. 

"You're too cute," he said quietly, watching the kids around them run to the fake guns and pull on vests.

"Cool. Can we just shoot some people now?" She pulled away from him and ran up to the guns, pulling a random one away from the rack.

"Can we be on the same team?" He asked, picking up the gun next to her.

"No, it'd be better if we're on opposite teams," she snickered, pulling on a blue vest while handing him a red one.

"Do we have to?" He pouted, but he took it anyways when all she did was nod.

"C'mon, it's gonna be fun."

She was right, it was fun.

Dodging shots and hiding behind plastic rocks in the dark made him feel like a ninja. A sweaty ninja.

Whenever she disappeared he would run to shoot her, but she dodged most shots effortlessly and then she was gone.

Somehow, she managed to sneak up on him multiple times and shoot him from behind. Talk about a backstabber.

When he finally found her by herself at one point, she was leaning stealthily against a rock in the corner, turned the opposite way to him. He laughed under his breath and snuck up to her.

"Hey babe," he said quietly. "Gotcha."

She immediately whipped around, and before he had a chance to react, she pulled the trigger twice and shot him in the heart.

"Bonus points asshole," she smirked. "Right in the heart."

He just laughed and walked towards her, dropping his gun down and leaning down to her height.

"I'm gonna get you back," he said clearly, smirking.

"Oh yeah? How?" She asked. Her teeth shone unnaturally white against the lights. Only this close he could see the sweat on her skin and the wild look in her eyes. It was slightly frightening.

He didn't even bother to give her an answer as he leaned forwards and kissed her.
