"Annabeth, I need help!" Upon hearing her name, Annabeth whipped her head up in the direction of the voice, a smile touching her lips when she recognizes it to be Percy's.
She hid the smile from her voice and called, "Come on, I was just up there to help you!"
Not even waiting for his response, knowing it would be something dumb, she slammed the fridge shut and walked towards the stairs before waving a small hello at Sally, who only smiled widely and looked back down at the paper she was currently writing.
Annabeth lightly hopped up the stairs and walked right into Percy's room, without even knocking.
There he was, his eyebrows knit in concentration, biting his pencil and staring down at the mess of papers before him.
He looked up almost instantly and grinned.
"I need help."
"I figured." He just scoffed and pushed his current problem in front of her. She scanned it quickly before turning back to him with a look of disbelief.
"You idiot," she teased, which only made him laugh, "this is so easy. I know you know how to do this." He just shook his head innocently and stared at her pleadingly. She crossed her arms and shook her head.
"You just divide," she said, pointing at the jumble of numbers. "And then multiply by the numerator. It's simple, seaweed brain."
He stuck his tongue out at her. She rolled her eyes.
"Maybe it's easy for you," he complained twirling his pencil "but not for me. And besides, you're supposed to be my tutor."
She just shook her head, still not believing him.
Finally, after a moment's silence, she said "You just wanted to see me, didn't you?"
He grinned, and she rolled her eyes, immediately sure she was correct.
"You really are wise, Wise Girl."
She just scoffed and turned around to leave his room.
"Just shut up and do your homework."
She heard a faint laugh as she made her way down the hallway, followed by a sarcastic "some tutor."
