A time to live or die.
A time to make or break your future.
For Maria she had to survive same went for Sophia, Raymond and Jackson. But for Anya, Max, Noah living was the last thing they wanted...

When Sophia, Maria and Raymond arrived to school, Anya, Jackson, Noah and Max were already waiting for them outside of the school. Anya wore all black with hints of white, Jackson wearing the same but with grey while Noah and Max wore whatever seemed to be clean. Band tees, zip-up jackets and ripped skinny jeans.
"Where were you guys?" Jackson asked as soon as they reached him. Maria shrugged, "went out for breakfast" replied Sophia as Jackson's eyes zoned in on Maria's hand encased in Raymond's larger one. He looked at Noah with a frown, a distant look in his eyes. Noah kept his head down the whole time, arms wrapped around himself as if he was waiting for the next blow, whether by words or by force.
"Hm" Jackson hummed as he kicked off the wall. "We should get to class" and everyone parted like bees going out to look for honey.
Maria went to her group of friends. Raymond went to his. Jackson went to the schools basement while Sophia went to drama class. Max and Noah walked each other to their academic halls that were next to each other and Anya followed behind silently. When the bell rang signaling class has started, everyone was already in their rightful places.

"There's this party tonight from sundown to sunrise called Neon Sparks, I was thinking that that could be the first place we go. The fair isn't until Halloween and we've still got around a week and a half." It was the end of the day and all seven teenagers had decided to stay after meeting each other, one after the other, in the hall.
"I'm down" replied Raymond who leaned up against the wall. "Same" Max shrugged, not caring. Anything to get him away from the arguments would do. Even if that meant risking his parents lives. "I'll go" Anya murmured, to engrossed in her homework to care. "I guess" Sophia scratched the back of her head nervously, she hadn't been out at night since she was little. This would be a new experience for her.
Maria looked at a shy, blushing Noah. "What about you Noah?" She asked his softly, as if knowing that a louder voice was break him. He stuttered "u-u-um-" he played with the band of his jacket wrist "n-n-no" he finally got out. Maria nodded "well if your not going, then I'm not" she grabbed his hand with a smile, standing tall and proud at her decision. If Noah didn't want to go then they'd find somewhere else to spend their time. Maybe Noah wouldn't mind going to the arcade.
Noah's eyes widened "-n-n-no-no!" He exclaimed. "G-go with th-them! H-ha-have fun, I d-don't w-want to be-be dragging an-anyone d-down!" He stuttered out, his face going beat red from the amount of air he used up.
"No, if you're not going then I'm not. We stick together, always" Maria wrapped her hands around his and squeezed softly, just like she had down to Raymond, and smiled.
"O-okay. . ." Noah trailed off.
"Okay for what?" Raymond asked, his eyes drifting up from Maria and Noah's locked hands.
"O-okay I'll g-go" Noah shied away from the group, his cheeks growing even more red. "Yes!" Max exclaimed with a fist pump, he hissed bring his arms back down. "You okay?" Anya asked, Max rubbed his wrist and nodded nonchalantly "yeah" he replied.
Everyone turned their attention back to Noah, knowing full well why Max had hissed. It was quite obvious to them but not to adults. It was like adults were clueless at times.
"Come on guys, let's charge up our parents credit cards and try to have a good time tonight" they all walked out of school together, each separating into different cards.
While in Raymond's car, Sophia booked two bedrooms for their group with connecting doors. Max thought that if their parents couldn't give a shit about them, then theirs no reason to care about their parents. Charging them up with bills is all that they could do. It wasn't like they'd love to see the day their parents finally look at their credit card bill. Most of their parents were drunk or high half the time.
"Room for two under the name, Nixon" Sophia, Anya and Maria leaned up against the countertop where the assistant sat typing away at a computer. "Sign in please while I get your room keycards and hotel packets" They nodded and let Anya sign them in. They were a party of seven split into two groups; boys and girls.
When the lady came back with their keycards, everyone took their rightful key and rode the elevator up to their floor. "We should have room numbers 243 and 244. They each have two queen size beds with a fold out coach, a mini fridge, on-suite bathroom and a closet." Anya explained as she read the packet that came with their purchase.
"Looks like we got lucky, these are last connecting rooms" Maria looked over Anya's shoulder and read out loud. When the elevator stopped, everyone got out and immediately began looking for their room number.
It was down the third hall, connecting to the second and fourth, with windows and ice machines of both ends.
"Sweet" Raymond murmured looking around. They had five guys in total. Two for the girls and three for the boys, the keys were programmed to work for both rooms instead of one. The doors to their conjoining room was wide open to show the spaciousness of their rooms. "How much did this cost, Sophia?" Noah asked, finally speaking up after forever.
"Ehh" she shrugged "four hundred a night not including tax and the little goodies that came separately from the room. We are also being charged for whatever we take out of the fridge and room service" but they didn't care. They had seven cards being charged for them and that was all that mattered, they could spend as much money as they wanted.
That's what had everyone grabbing a bottle of liquor and ordering room service. The only one that hadn't grabbed liquor was Noah, who grabbed a bottle of apple juice and some crackers instead.
"You okay?" Jackson whispered into Noah's ear. A shiver recked his body causing Noah to move away from Jackson. "Y-yeah" he stumbled over his words, Jackson held his bottle of moonshine closer to Noah "would you like to try it?" Noah eyed the gross smelling liquid and shook his head.
Although he wanted to try it, he hated bitter things.
Liquor was definitely bitter.
"Oh come on, Noah. I know you want to" Jackson took a swig, wincing when the taste hit the back of his throat, before he held it out for Noah again.
"Just try it, it will take your worries away. No more thinking about parents, no more worries about school. You'll be free" Noah took grasp of the bottle, looking at Jackson for approval before he inhaled and took a large gulp.
Tonight was going to be a fun night.
