Nejire and Tamaki tried to cheer her up, but the inner conflict didn't stop, Asuka felt like shit the whole week.
She would eat herself sick then throw up in the toilet
Nejire began to worry about her, trying to get her to smile but it was like talking to herself
Meko tried to sneak sleeping pills in her food but it still wouldn't let her sleep.
She would wake up sobbing, gripping the bedsheets
Mirio's silence answered her unasked question..... he didn't feel the same and it shattered what was left of her heart.
She walked like a zombie to classes, her eyes had dark circles under them, scratch marks on her neck from anger.
Nejire still walked with her, but soon started to think that Asuka hated her, Asuka didn't. It was just so hard to even speak.
It was Friday, to Asuka's relief
She skipped first block lunch again to train, training always ended with her angrily beating up a punching bag until she collasped with exhaustion.
Sensai Nighteye tried to get her to open up but she refused
Assuring him it was just training and school.
She had changed in the locker room slowly, then went out to work out
She started with Hang cleans
Adding weight until she failed, then did over head squats

Little did she know Mirio was watching her, he also skipped lunch to train
He was doing bicep curls until she came in, not noticing him
Her eyes were closed, listening to her music as she got low and pushed herself back up
He put the weights down and scratched the back of his head, watching her
Not sure what to say, he had heard how she viewed him, and he couldn't help but feel giddy at the words she wrote about him. And how he made her feel.
But he was just so nervous, he had no skill with flirting with girls. He was always busy with training and working in his quirk.
But he developed a crush on Asuka in third grade, when he had accidentally fell half way through the floor and his cloths flew away. The children laughed at him as he tried desperately to cover himself, but Asuka grabbed her sweater and blocked their view. Glaring at them and yelling "IT'S NOT FUNNY!".
He felt gratitude at her optimism, and also admiration for her bravery.
They became fast friends and then she met Tamaki
Tamaki quickly got along with her, hearing about her brave act to stand up for Mirio
Mirio also admired her Father, he was a good hero and had helped Mirio control his quirk alittle. Given that when he was Mirio's age he ran halfway across the country just to use the bathroom unintentionally.
But how would he talk to Asuka if she ran away from him, or ignored him
He would tell her, mark his words he would!
