With Asuka still alive, Tamaki felt he should give Mirio the happy news. Lighten the load of grief for his best freind.
Asuka was still unresponsive, but she still had a heart beat.Tamaki sighed before entering his best freinds hospital room. Mirio turned away from the television screen.
His eyes were red and puffy from crying but his smile was still present on his face.
"Hey Tamaki, how are ya doing?" He said with a huge smile.
Tamaki knew better from that smile, on the inside Mirio was crying out in pain.
Tamaki gritted his teeth and bowed his head down.
"Mirio, you don't have to plaster that smile on your face in front of me" he snapped.
Mirio's smile faltered and he looked down, defeated.
"I- I know" he whispered
Tamaki felt a pang of guilt shoot through him.
"I-im sorry Mirio, but it isn't healthy" he stuttered.
Mirio nodded in agreement and rubbed his tired poofy eyes.
"I-i miss her, and Sir nighteye" he admitted.
Tamaki came over and gripped Mirio's shoulder in comfort.
"She's not gone" he said softly.
Mirio did a sad smile and nodded, yeah she's in here" he motioned towards his heart.
"No, she's Alive Mirio" he spoke a octave louder.
"Yeah buddy, in our hearts" he said dreamily.
Tamaki just scoffed and smacked Mirio on the shoulder.
"No, SHE'S ALIVE!" He yelled out of frustration.
Mirio just sat confused for a moment, his eyes watered.
"That's not funny" he grumbled wiping his eyes.
Tamaki just grabbed his shoulder and pulled him up, off the bed.
Leading him down the hospital hallway and into the intensive care wing where Asuka was still hooked up to wires and wrapped in cast and bandages.
Her breathing labored and her eyes where swollen shut from her broken nose.
Mirio let out a cry and collapsed to his knees at the side of the bed.
He laid his head down and clasped both of his hands around her tiny one. Being gentle not to disturb the I.V.
"Asuka ..... I. ..love ... You" he spoke through sobs.
Tamaki quietly left to give them privacy, silently shutting the door.Mirio was gently stroking Asuka's hair, watching her intently.
The beeping of her heart moniter and the raspy drag of breath was the only noise.
A nurse would come in time to time to check her vitals.
Her grandfather visited daily.Mirio got up to use the restroom, leaving a still unconscious Asuka alone.
A pair of turquoise eyes who had been waiting came closer.
The window slipped open and a dark figure came in, It was Dabi.
He looked down at Asuka and a look of anguish filled his heart.
"Asuka, I'm so sorry" he whispered.
He pulled something out of his coat pocket and laid it on the stand.
It was a beautiful blue flower, something his dreadful father would give to his mother.
He leaned down to gently peck her forehead.
His head shot up when he heard the guy that was recently here come and quickly but quietly went out the window pulling it shut.Mirio sighed and ploped back down on the chair next her her. Rubbing his tired eyes.
Everything was silent until her heart beeps started going haywire.
Mirio's head shot up and he gasped out in fear.
Her heart was beating to fast, way to fast.
"NURSE!" He hollered
A nurse in pink scrubs raced in and looked at the screen before going into a cabinet to bring out a large Syringe.
"Stand back young man" she informed before grabbing the I.V and injecting it in.
As soon as it hit Asuka's heart it started to regulate and suddenly she shot up and gasped. The tubes in her neck and throat were ripped from her mouth.
She was trying to reach out for someone.
"KAI!!!" She cried out before fainting and falling back down.
The heart moniter went deadline and the alarms went off.
"Asuka!!!" Mirio cried before the nurse pushed him out.
"Code Blue, we have a Code blue" a docter raced in and a bunch of other medical nurses rushed in As Well.
Mirio sat in the lobby and sobbed, gripping his sleeves in tight grip and begged whoever was there not to take Her from him.
