Jirou got out of the car, "I guess I'll see you after school, then," Jirou said and I smiled and nodded. "And promise you won't forget our chat," Jirou said and I giggled and nodded. I was about to go when he held up his pinky finger. I smiled softly and brought up my pinky to lock with his. "Pinky swear?" Jirou said with a smirk. "Pinky swear," I replied. "Alright then, you can go now." I giggled and said goodbye. I walked through the gates, hearing the car drive off. I was almost to the doors when I saw someone familiar standing there.
"Haruhi?" I whispered before I quickened my pace. She stood there in the boy's uniform, daydreaming. When she heard me coming closer, she turned to look at me. She smiled, "Hey (m/n), glad you could make it." I chuckled and greeted her back. "Are you ready for today?" She asked me as we joined the crowd. "Honestly, I forgot I had school today." Haruhi rolled her eyes, "Of course, you did." I laughed, putting a smile on her face. Unknown to us, everyone had quickly noticed my presence.
They immediately started whispering to each other, wondering who I was...and how I was so good looking. "You're probably going to get a tour from someone, so I'll make sure that someone is me," Haruhi said as she sent me a smile. "Sounds good," I said before I made eye contact with a student. She quickly looked away, hiding her face. I already knew how my day was going to go and knew what to do. "I assume because I'm still a host, I'll have to do some entertaining outside of the club, correct?" I asked and Haruhi hummed in affirmation.
"Most of the girls already know not to bring after-school activities into school hours. But we both know how girls are," Haruhi explained and I gave her a knowing nod. "Well, since we're not in the same class, I guess we need to go our separate ways now," She paused before she pointed to the left, "Down that hall is where your classroom is. Class 3, right?" I said that was correct. "I'm down the other way, so, I'll see at lunch?" I told her that I'd find her and she smiled before she turned to walk away. I stood there for another second before I went the other way.
I followed the signs and found the door to my homeroom. I didn't waste any time and opened the door, catching the attention of some students. The teacher happened to be in there and looked up at me from his desk. "Ah, you must be the new transfer student." I smiled and said that was correct. The bell then rang and the teacher stood up. "Can I get everyone's attention, please." The teacher called, receiving everyone's attention. "We have a new student that will be transferring into our class," He turned to look at me, "Please, introduce yourself."
I nodded and a took a step forward. "Hello, my name's (m/n) (l/n), and I'll be joining your class. Please, take care of me," I said before I bowed, hearing murmuring. " (m/n), you're in my class?" I froze, fearing the worst. I turned to look at the person, and low and behold, it was Tamaki himself. "Thank you, Mr. (l/n), please pick a seat. Everyone else, get out what we were working on yesterday." The teacher said, and everyone did as they were told. I was about to go to the nearest seat, which I made sure was far away from the blond.
Besides, there weren't any seats next to him anyway. The class continued, not that anyone really cared. Most of them were staring at me or trying to start a conversation with me. I obliged, knowing that I had to put being a host first now for my image. When class was finally over, I still wasn't free from sitting in a classroom. For the duration of the class, I was constantly being stared at. Any moment that allowed speaking, people would flock to me. I endured this the whole morning before lunch finally rolled around.
I wasted no time leaving the room. I immediately started walking to Haruhi's classroom, since she's one of the people I've been looking forward to all day. I opened her classroom door and saw her barely standing up. "Haruhi," I called out her name and she turned to look at me before she smiled. She walked towards me and everyone seemed to be watching. "Let's go to lunch, mi amigo," I said and Haruhi chuckled. We both started walking to the lunchroom. We both grabbed our lunches and sat down at an empty table.
"So, what do you think of Ouran so far?" Haruhi asked and I chuckled. "It's interesting. I haven't attended a private school in a while, so it's all slowly coming back to me," I said and Haruhi hummed before she took a bite of her food. "How has your mom been?" I paused. "She's doing well, I mean, she's a lot more comfortable then she used to be," I replied as I took a sip of my drink. "That's great. I haven't seen her in a while." Haruhi said. "You should come over sometime, maybe when we have a break from the club,"
I suggested and Haruhi said that would be wonderful. It was quiet for only a few moments, and when we were almost finished eating. "(m/n), I really am glad that you're here. Eating lunch with you today... I really needed this to feel-" I finished her sentence, "Normal?" Haruhi smiled, "Yeah." I smiled back and looked into her soft, brown eyes. "I feel a bit more normal too," Haruhi laughed and said that was good. I hummed in agreement and for the rest of the lunch period, we sat together, completely contempt with each other's company.
