Whoopsie! Has it really been a year since I last updated this??? I'm so sorry you guys, really. I've read all your comments and have seen this story steadily rise in votes and views. Well, I'm back now! Here's the chapter that you guys have so desperately wanted to read. I've really grown as a writer and I think it shows in this new chapter. Perhaps it will seem as if I'm a completely different person haha. Anyways, I'd like to thank everyone for all the love and support that I've received. It really means a lot to me!!! I love you guys!! Enjoy!

I brought everyone inside and we into my living room. They all sat down, cracking jokes about my place just to see me crack a smile. However, when it came down to tell them what happened, I chocked up. Haruhi was seated next to me and rested a comforting hand on top of mine. I gave her a weak smile before I took a shaky breath and told them everything that had happened. When I finished, they were all silent, staring at me with wide eyes. "But you're a student too? And you're not a commoner..." Tamaki drifted off and I gave him a small smile.

"I know, Tamaki. In all aspects, I should be their equals. I have everything that they have and possibly more... But some people feel the need to make themselves better than others. Racism is just the simplest and easiest way to accomplish that." Tamaki's eyes fell to the floor. Even his optimistic attitude couldn't stand a chance against something as twisted as this. "The female student who has done this has a history of discriminating against people. Her name is Hana Kobayashi. Her father owns a glasses manufacturing company. I'll see to it that she is to be expelled. Such a thing doesn't belong at Ouran Academy. It goes against all that we are."

Kyoya said, already texting on his phone. "No, don't do that, Kyoya." He looked up from what he was doing at me, surprised. "Why not? She not only hurt your image amongst the students but also brought up such horrible memories." I sighed and averted my eyes before I looked back up at him. "Because that would just be getting rid of the problem. What would the other students think? It'd look as if I just got rid of her... I don't want to look like that person again..." Kyoya parted his lips, agape. "Again? (m/n)-chan, what do you mean?" Honey asked and I shifted in my seat. Luckily, Haruhi took on the task of answering.

"This isn't exactly the first time that this has happened." I started nibbling on my lips, suddenly feeling anxiety. "It happened in our last year of middle school. We didn't go to the same school, but (m/n) always went out of his way to walk with me after school was out. Other kids would always ask me who (m/n) was and where he was from. Let's face it, there's not a lot of diversity here. There was this one boy who would always make double-sided comments about (m/n)." I started to subconsciously bounce my knee, growing tense as memories plagued my mind. "It happened when (m/n) was walking to join me at our usual meet up spot." I visibly gulped.

"That same boy had gathered some other kids to confront (m/n). They taunted him with racial slurs, calling him a gaijin." I squeezed my eyes shut at the mention of that word. Haruhi whispered an apology to me. I gave her a weak smile before she started talking again. "When (m/n) tried to stand up for himself, it only made them angrier. The ring leader shoved him to the ground and brought his mother into the mix. You guys don't know, but (m/n)'s means the absolute world to him. She's a frail woman but she has a heart of gold. So to hear someone insult her in front of him..." Haruhi hesitated, to which I put a hand on her back.

"I couldn't let that slide," I said as I held Haruhi's gaze. I looked over at the group. "I went into a blind rage and started throwing punches. At the time, I was taking lessons from Jirou in self-defense, meaning that they didn't stand a chance against me. A couple that was walking by found us fighting and yelled for me to stop..." I took a shaky breath before continuing, "They were only yelling at me, instantly siding with the other kids. It was at that moment when I felt that everyone was against me. That I truly was a gaijin; an outsider." My eyes glazed over, remembering the horrified expressions that seemed to surround me.

"After that, the police were called and it was a huge ordeal. Haruhi had come over to my house to see me the day after it happened. She would actually change my bandages while telling me about the book she was reading. It would've been a cute sight to see under different circumstances." Haruhi gave me a sad smile. "Once the truth was learned, my dad was furious. He had made some calls and had all the kids involved expelled. After that happened, everything changed. Nobody would talk to me, look at me, hell, not even stand by me. I had to stop walking with Haruhi because I couldn't stand the stigmatization and neither could my parents..."

I mustered up a fake smile and with a deep sigh, said, "Anyway, that's the story..." I feel that I've been talking for hours when it's only been a short while. "Oh, (m/n)..." Kaoru started. "That's horrible! How... how can people be so cruel?!" Hikaru said after. "Forgive me for even mentioning my idea," Kyoya said as he came to my side. "It's not like you knew, Kyoya. You don't have to apologize," I said as I shook my head. "It felt nice to tell you guys, even if it is still painful. I feel almost, relieved that you guys know now." Everyone nodded but I could tell that they were still feeling sad for me. Honey burst into tears and jumped into my lap to hug me.

I chuckled and hugged him, "As much as it means to me to see you cry for me, you don't have to." Honey shook his head, saying that he can't help it. "You amaze me, (m/n)." I grunted in surprise and looked up at Tamaki. "Why?" I asked, bewildered. "You're so strong, even after everything that you've dealt with. I would've never guessed that something so horrible happened to you." Kaoru jumped in, "Yeah, you're so confident and carefree! It seems nearly impossible that you've had to deal with such a thing." Everyone else joined in with their own similar comment, making me smile.

"Thank you, guys. It means a lot that you all came here to see if I was alright. You have no idea how much it does mean to me. I'm so happy that Haruhi brought me to you guys." Haruhi put her hand on my shoulder and gave me a squeeze. "We're always here for you, (m/n). You're a member of the host club and our friend," Tamaki said with his signature smile. "Well, now you're never going to get rid of me." Everyone laughed at that, Kyoya even joining in and cracking a joke. I grinned, feeling like the luckiest guy in the world. And why would I feel like that...I have the greatest people in the whole world right here in front of me.
