Eugene's Appearance

Hiccup's Pov

Rapunzel is really talented. I hope I don't fail.

2 fights broke off while Punzie was singing. They were fighting over as to who that song was written for. I know it's for Jack. Punzie kept glancing at him and glaring at Elsa for the negative parts of the song. I thought it was for Merida at first and realized it was for Elsa. She didn't seem bothered at all though.

A guy bumped into me.

"Sorry, I didn't mean to" He apologized looking terrified.

I'm not gonna hurt him. I know the big four is pretty well known to be 'we get rid of you if you do something bad to us'

But seriously, bumping me?

"It's good" I answered. Students are leaving the auditorium. I saw Merida come out the doors.

"Merida, Right here" I bellowed. She marched toward us along with Elsa.

"Oi, Hiccup, Help me to do me assignment" Merida ordered.

"Sorry Mer but he's helping me" Jack said.

"What?! I never agreed to that" I argued.

"Now you did"They both said at the same time.

"Why don't you guys do it together?" Elsa looked at Jack and Merida.

"Ya think this guy can help" Merida pointed at Jack "His brains full of nawthing"

"You're one to talk" Jack defended. "your head got nothing but hair"

"You both just want me to do your homework"

They both grinned at me

"No, and we need Mrs. Reyes permission anyways" I said before they could say anything.

"Then let's go ask" Jack grabbed my hand.

"Help me Elsa" I said. She mouthed the word sorry.

"Ya comin with us?" Merida asked. She shook her head.

"I have something to do" She explained. We all nodded then she walked away. She's still putting a barrier around her.

Eugene's Pov

Rapunzel's song made everyone curious. How could they not tell it was written for Jack. I sighed. I'm going to explore this island.

I walked for 40 minutes. I can see the top of the builiding we were staying at from here. There's nothing interesting here.

I started to walk back when I saw a pink lake.

"Cool!" I sprinted mesmerized by what I found.

A girl with platinum blonde hair was leaning on one of the trees. She was writing something on the notebook.

Wait, isn't that Elsa? The girl who turned the Merida's offer on her first day. She looks beautiful but not as beautiful as Rapunzel. Let me have some fun with her.

"Elsaa!" I dashed towards her.

She gave me a cold stare.

"How do you know my name?" She asked.

"We all do. The girl who turned down Merida's offer and the girl the big four are amused of"

"Oh" She continued writing on her notebook.

This is Boring. Usually girls would flirt back with me.

"What are you writing?" I peeked at her notebook.

She closed it real quick and glared at me.

"Sorry" I apologized.

"It's okay just don't do that again and I'm checking my song for mistakes" She replied.

"Oh, aren't you suppose to write about your feelings?" She nodded her head.

"So are you singing it to someone you love, like Punzie did" I asked. She shook her head.

"What is it about then?"

"I don't know. I just wrote it but it's not for someone"

"Oh," was the only thing I could say. We sat there in awkward silence but she didn't appear to be bothered by it.

Maybe she'll listen to my story? I really need someone to talk to?

"Can you listen to my story?" I blurted.

"No, I don't even know you" she answered without looking up.

I grabbed a photo out of my pocket and showed it to her. She took a glimpse of it. It was me and Punzie during middle school.

"Rap and I used to be bestfriends ever since we were 5 years old."

I peeked at her. She was still staring at her notebook but I kept talking anyway.

"Things were great until middle school. She became prettier and a lot of guys fell in love with her. We started to talk less and less. She met Jack, Merida and Hiccup. The most popular people in the school"

Why am I telling her this.

"Merida the most athletic student in school. Hiccup the smartest one. He can answer any question you ask. Jack the most good looking guy and Punzie the prettiest girl. They decided to form a group called big four. After that she never talked to me anymore and it really hurts cause I've always liked her, that's why I would date different kinds of girls to make me forget but I guess it's not possible"

I laid on the grass and gazed at the sky. There were clouds formed in different shapes. I felt like a heavy weight was lifted of my soldiers

Elsa stood up and looked at me straight in the eye with her lifeless eyes.

"First of all, Don't date a girl when you're not serious about her and secondly, if you really want to talk to her then just talk to her" She adviced. "I'm going. Bye"

I smiled. She was listening after all.

"Thanks Elsa. I'll be expecting your help from now on. The name's Eugene btw but you can call me Flynn" I shouted when she was quite away from me.

I understand why the big four has taken a liking to her...
