For the rest of the day, we throw knives.

"Come on, you've got to be kidding me!" I grumble when the knife doesn't even come close to the target for the third time.

"Go get it," Eric orders for behind me.

"Or?" I ask.

"Stand in from of the target," he says.

"Anyone can stand in front of a target!" I sassily reply.

"While Four throws knives," he finishes, "Everyone stop!"

They stop throwing.

I roll my eyes and walk out to the target while Four grabs four knives.

"Stay there and I'll forget your back talking, or flinch and you're out," he says. I scoff and roll my eyes.

Four throws the first knife and it hits about six inches from my left hand. No flinch. The second one places itself near my right shoulder. No flinch. The third one places itself right above my head, nearly taking some hair off. Still no flinch. The fourth? Nicks my left ear and draws blood. No flinch!

"Alright, you all can go," Eric says before walking away.

"You hit me," I say to Four after everyone leaves.

"I meant to," he replies as he picks up knives.

"You meant to?" I ask.

"You really think Eric was going to let you go without a scratch? If I wanted to kill you, I would've. I could've," he says.

"Not really, but I might as well help while I'm here right?" I ask.

"Go get the ones on the range," he half says half orders.

"Yes sir!" I say with a salute before turning around and gathering the knives on the range.

"Thanks," he says when I hand over the twelve knives I gathered. He puts them away.

"Dinner?" I ask. He nods and we walk toward the dining hall.

"What the heck was that?!" Tris asks when I sit down next to her.

"What?" I ask as I grab a burger and some water.

"You standing in front of the target!" she exclaims.

"I don't know, Eric made me because I hadn't hit the target in three tries," I say.

"I have come to the conclusion that you seriously have a death wish!" Christina says.

"Whatever," I say before taking a bite of my burger.

"What do you say to a little extra training tonight?" I ask after I swallow.

"Sure," Tris says.

"Sounds good!" Christina replies.

"Good deal," Will says.

We all finish our good fairly quickly, and head toward the training room.
