"Let's go get tattoos!" Christina suggests when we finally find some free time. Al, Will, Tris and I all agree and we make our way to the tattoo parlor.
"Which one?" I ask Tris as I hold up two different tattoos on a slate of glass.
One of a feather with birds flying away from it, and the other of two thorns intertwined with flames rising up and three stars underneath."I like this one," she says pointing to the thorns one.
"Me too, let's see what Christina thinks," I say before walking over to her, "Which one?"
Will, Christina, and Al all point to the thorns.
"Hmm, they all said this one, but I might get both," I say to Tris.
"Then do it," she says.
"Alright," I say before walking over to Tori. I get the thorn on my right shoulder blade, and the feather on my left side.
"Where did you get yours? I got mine on my collar bone," she says.
"Here, and there," I say as I show her.
"I like them!" Christina says from behind us.
"Ready to go?" Will asks us.
"Sure," Tris answers. We all head back to the Pit.
"All transfer initiates to the training room, now!" Eric yells at us.
"What crawled up his ass and died?" Kristina asks.
"I don't know, but it sure made him uncomfortable!" I say, earning chuckles from everyone.
"Well, now since you're all here, I have a little surprise for you. First jumper in the ring," Eric says.
I walk to the ring and ask, "Why? I've already beaten everyone. Twice."
"You're going to be fighting Four," Eric replies slyly.
"What?" I ask. Tris and Christina gasp.
"Are you scared?" Eric asks.
"No, I'll be fine!" I say.
Four saunters into the ring, and we get into fighting stance. We circle around once before he throws a punch toward my throat, but I quickly duck and swipe his feet out from underneath him. He quickly gets up and takes a fast few steps forward. I do something I've never done before. A back handspring!
Never knew I could do that!
I kick toward his chest, but he jumps to the left. I send a punch that connects with his face, and he stumbles backward.
He easily recovers and lands a punch, that I attempted to block, straight to the side of my face. I feel blood trickling down from my temple, but disregard it.
I dive roll behind him as he kicks out at me. I jump up and wrap my legs around his neck, and flip backward. Taking him with me.
He retaliates with getting out of my hold and shoving me off. He stomps, seeing as I'm still on the floor. I roll out of the way, and stand up.
He kicks, and hits his target. My left side. My weak side. I guess he's been paying attention.
I fly to the right, landing on the floor a few feet away from him. A flashback from one of the beatings occurs, and tears brim at my eyes. Tris is the only one to know why.
"No," I whimper.
"Are you done? Do you need a break?" Eric mocks.
"No," I growl harshly. I jump up and attack Four again. With a new found strength.
We both end up bruised and bloody, but it's not half bad, admitting I lost to Four. I think I put up quite a fight!
