My hands were trembling with anxiety as I stood in front of the huge yard of Bombocha High School. There's a lot of people out here, from many looks and personalities. But me, I'm only a shy girl, a nerd who doesn't stand out among the society. Oh well, I just hope I can survive through these long years of school. It should be fun. What's the worst that can happen?

Taking a deep breath, I started walking towards the school, with a small smile on my face to try to look friendly to everyone. Everybody seemed like nice people here. You can do this, Sandra. You can- AARRGHH!!!

Someone pushed me hard from beside me and I fell to the ground, my books falling everywhere and people started laughing.

"Oh my God! I'm so sorry! Roy is an idiot." A tall, black haired girl came running towards me along with two guys.

"Hey, you told me to do it!" That guy, who I assume was Roy, answered.

"Yeah, but not that hard!" The girl said and bent down to give me a hand. I took it and she helped me up. She smiled at me while Roy and the other guy picked up my books.

"Welcome to Bombocha High School! You must be the new girl. I'm Mileena Sanderson, and your name is...?"

"Why did you do that?!" I snapped, fixing my clothes and still pissed that one of her friends had pushed me, apparently at purpose.

"Oh, that was a welcome greeting." She replied casually with a stupid grin.

"Are you serious? Pushing people to the ground is a welcome greeting?" I argued while the guys handed me my books.

"Of course. We always receive new students by pushing them to the ground, right, guys?"

"Yeah. It's fun." Roy replied with a shrug.

"Whatever." I replied, rolling my eyes.

"So, what's your name?" She asked.

"Sandra. Sandra Simmons."

"Ok, Sandra. I'm Mileena Sanderson."

"You told me already."

"Oh, right." She giggled stupidly.

"I'm Roy." Roy introduced himself. "And this is Carlos." He motioned to the other guy.

"Hi, lady." Carlos replied with a smirk.

"Um, hi..." I replied smiling shyly.

"So, anyway, do you want to be friends with us? We'll take no by an answer!" Mileena asked.

"Then why are you asking?" I asked back dully. I actually didn't mind having them as friends. They seem like nice people. Kind of.

"Then what are we doing here? Come on!" Mileena chirped and wrapped an arm around me. "We'll take a tour around the school, you'll meet its surroundings, its people, and you'll learn to become popular in one of the BEST schools of the United States!"

The idea sounded quite exciting. I couldn't wait to see all the adventures that this school had in store for me.
