A Quest for a Reunion!

When I crossed over the Park, he was hanging out with a friend who was wearing a weird sunglasses, and a tanned skin with a small beard. He looked like he was helping out a tourist.

Who knew? Maybe he became a tourist guide?

I took a step forward to see my old buddy who worked as a tourist guide.

I strode past the small fountain, trying to get his attention. But he didn't even give a glance to look at me. So I decided to get near the tourist, and tried to act as an another tourist.

I went near Mike, he was gulping down a bunch of freshly cooked chocolate pies. And when he stared at me, he had a slight jerk and then he turned towards me, taking a last gulp at the pie.

He swallowed it and said, "How may I help you sir?" 

I giggled a bit, and awkwardly asked him some directions in a weird accent, "Sir, doe ya knah whare is the publick resthroom?"

"Oh you want to go to the restroom? Then, go to the right and then go down the lawns, after you cross that, turn towards the east you will see the restroom"Mark replied thoroughly.

"Oh thankh You sir!" I giggled again.

I pretended to go in the directions he said, but i really wanted to go to the restroom right now, and so I decided to really follow his directions.

I went towards the right, and then went down. I saw the lawns and an old lady cutting the ripened crops. She looked at me as if I were a peculiar insect. I turned towards her and looked suspiciously. 

I turned towards the east and .....

Mark fooled me. He knew me from the first, I thought i was pranking him. But this smart fellow has outsmarted me, cunning guy....I thought..

I frowned and returned hurriedly, searching for a restroom and found one after asking the lawn lady.

I returned back to see the Witty Man. He was not there.

"Oh my _" I cried in disappointing surprise.

Mike was gone, i had missed the only chance to gather a lost buddy, because of a prank?

How could this happen? What was I going to do? I turned towards the Hawaiian tourist, and then asked him "Hey! Do you know where the tourist guide went?"

He turned in suspicion,and said "Tourist Guide? Who?".

"The guy who said the directions to you and ate chocolate pies?" I mumbled like him.

"Oh! You mean Mike McGreggor? He went by the lawns to see someone sir." He said.

"Oh thanks!" I said.

I hurried to the lawns the second time, and saw him sitting down in a picnic mat and gulping and gobbling pies.

When did he change this much? Who knows... I went scurrying down to the mat and stared at him like a Golden Fish being caught in a net. 

"MIKE!" I cried out loud.

Mike turned after a sigh of finishing his pies, "Carl? Is that you?" Mike said and then started to  guffaw at me.

"Why are you laughing Dude?" I asked in curiosity.

'You got pranked so easily, ahahahha" He continued to laugh and giggle loudly.

He Stopped after sometime. Suddenly his face changed a book of colors and then turned normal, and then he questioned me.

"Do you know what happened to the others?" 

"No Idea."

"But I know it, I know Karrie and Sean's location."

"You know? Then lets go! What are you waiting for? "

"For a ship."He cleared his throat.

"What?" I cried out.

"I will tell everything Later, but we already met before you came."

"Why did you guys did not call me? Can't you just find me like you found them?"

"Sorry we did not have time to do that. But after a decision we got split up now. Me and they two are waiting for a ship to return, after that we will get many clues...."

"Clues? What clues?" I demanded.

"Clues about that  drive."

"Oh I see... So you have just now gathered members and started looking for it ?

"Yes. Recently....We had found a person who can help and trust people like us..."

"Oh, Then who is it?"

"Winston Charles Magnessun. He had sent out sailors to find other RoseShark Trees around the world. Because the RoseShark Tree which had genetically used to make the source of our immortality had been destroyed or used up to make our bodies last forever."

"So if we could find another one, and look at the genetic modifications of our body, and then Magnessun's research management crew called the Winston Researcher Insititution of Technology and Engineering or shortly called WRITE, will examine us and recreate the formula without the drive, but if we fail...."

"Then what?" I asked 

"Either the volunteer would die or it will not work and we will look for you and then continue for the hunt of the drive." Said Mike.

"So why are you here, if you're waiting for the ship?"

"I had quit the team for now, and decided to go my way. I did not or do not trust Magnessun. He is very peculiar, as he never suspected what we said. He accepts any fact we tell, and opposes anything we oppose."

"That's weird and good, but..." I said.

"Yes it's hard to believe there is someone who can believe and trust us, so I started to hunt simultaneously for the drive, even if one plan fails, at the same time we get the result."

"But you know what...I think the RoseShark Tree still lives somewhere in the Amazon forest...."

"What? How? How could it possibly live if it was the source of our immortality? "

"Do You remember the last words of our eleven's squad members before we left them to reach the supersonic jets?" I was about to say the important words they had said, which might be a clue.

"Wait.....What was it?" He tried to remember and asked curiously.

'Never Let Your Partners down, stay together and Live along with it.. Learn to adapt with it....'
