Chapter Seven: The Day Off pt. II

Jimin decided that Akaiya, Taehyung, and himself should take a day off from work, so they could help Akaiya relax with everything that's just going on with her ex.

"Did you forget, we're having a little outing today! You know, to help you feel better." he said grabbing Akaiya by her hands and lifting her up.

"Yes Jimin, I remember. I just didn't think we would be getting up this early!"

"Well you want to eat breakfast don't you?" He said dragging her out of the bed.

"Well yeah but I could've ate breakfast when I actually woke up, like by myself." Akaiya said while stretching after Jimin stood her up.

"Well we're going out to eat breakfast."

"Well don't we need to wake up Taehyung?" She asked walking toward Taehyung's room.

"No." he said pulling her back.

"What do you mean no?" she said confused.

"I thought that maybe we could go together, by ourselves." he said blushing. Akaiya thought it was cute when he got shy.

Akaiya decided to fix the sofa and right a note to Taehyung that read:

To: Taehyung

Taehyung, Jimin decided to wake me up and take me to some breakfast place. I'm sorry that we couldn't take you but, Jimin just couldn't wait I guess. So we'll see you when we get back to the apartment so we can all go out together.

Jimin and Akaiya talked while eating over breakfast. Jimin thought that Akaiya had looked really cute, he had started to think that he was really falling for Akaiya. He didn't want to say anything to anyone yet but he knew he was falling for her, he just didn't know how she felt.

End.

Back at the apartment

Taehyung woke up in the apartment in search of Akaiya and Jimin until he waked in the kitchen and read the note that she left for him.

After reading the note Taehyung knew Jimin took Akaiya to IHOP because that was Jimin's favorite place to go for breakfast. For some reason Taehyung didn't like the thought of Jimin alone with Akaiya so he decided to get dressed and go meet up with them at IHOP, before Taehyung stepped out the door he realized that it was raining so he decided to take a jacket and umbrella before officially walking out the door.

Back at IHOP

Akaiya had felt the same connection Jimin had but, neither knew about the other. Also, neither of them knew if what they felt was love or just something weird.

"Akaiya...thanks for agreeing to come to breakfast with me. I really appreciate it!" Jimin said blushing shyly.

"Why do you have to be so cute all the time?" Akaiya mumbled. This caused Jimin to blush even harder than he had been before.

"Y-yah why do you keep saying stuff like 'cute' or 'mochi'?" Jimin asked embarrassed.

"Fine, if you don't like it then I'll shut up and leave!" Akaiya slammed her hands on the table and marched to the door. She noticed it was raining before she officially left but, she didn't care. She hadn't known why she was treating Jimin like this. She had liked him but, she was just in fear of getting hurt again, so she felt the urge to push him away, so she just left the restaurant.

As soon as Jimin watched Akaiya walk out the door he mumbled, "I never wanted you to stop." Frustrated Jimin decided to go after Akaiya but, he also noticed that it was raining and he was afraid of Akaiya getting sick so he decided to hurry up and find her so he could take both of them home.

When Jimin walked outside he saw Akaiya accompanied with Taehyung under an umbrella across the other side of the road. Watching the two of them in the rain hurt him but, he mostly felt furious. He marched over to the both of them getting completely soaked. When he reached them he turned Taehyung around to face him and yelled, "GET AWAY FROM HER SHE IS MINE! YOU DON'T DESERVE HER!"

Both Akaiya and Taehyung were taken back by what Jimin just said. Taehyung felt hurt by Jimin's words but, he didn't want either of then to see that.

Jimin grew embarrassed by what he had said, he thought he messed up their whole day of excitement and fun.

"I-I mean...ummm" Jimin couldn't even come up with an explanation for his actions. He just stared at the blank expressions on Taehyung and Akaiya's face. Akaiya's face had destroyed him the most, just the look of complete speechlessness. He thought that she was so disappointed and disgusted at him that no words could express that. Jimin decided to just run off, he started to sprint down the side walk, the rain hitting his face blending in with the tears expelling down his face so he didn't have to bother hiding them.

"J-jimin wait!" Akaiya yelled as Jimin drew further into the distance. It was too late, Jimin had vanished. She felt broken and speechless. How could she be so oblivious she thought. She thought that she had lost him forever, she couldn't bare to face Taehyung or run after Jimin as he was too far away, so she drove home and left Taehyung in the cold rain by himself.
