Three days later: (Monday)
Akaiya knew she needed to look for a job this week. Nothing major but something that would help her collect enough money so she could pay for the rent by herself. She grabbed her computer and looked for a job hiring. It took what felt like forever till she finally found a job that sounded interesting and practical, it was a café that was only 15 minutes away from her apartment. She decided that she'd swing by the café around 1pm; the clock had currently read 11am so she decided to plan out her outfit. She wanted to go for something professional but welcoming. She decided to go with a nude/blush pink top with black jeans, she also paired it with blush pink heels and a rose gold watch.
For her hair she decided to do a cute loose bun with a simple makeup.
The clock now read 12:43pm, so Akaiya got completely ready and decided to head for the café. When Akaiya got to the café she walked in and it felt cozy and looked beautiful, it smelt off freshly baked cupcakes and brewed coffee.
She noticed seeing Jin behind the register, she remembered him from the party.
"Hey Jin!" she said trying to get his attention. After she said that he looked up at her.
He smiled at her. "Oh hey Akaiya welcome to the café! What brings you here"
"Thank you! I didn't know you worked here, and I was coming here to apply for a job." she said smiling back
"Well allow me to go get you résumé." He said walking to the back.
He came back to the front with her résumé attached to a clipboard. He handed her the clipboard and she sat down at a vacant table to fill it out. As she was filling it out she felt someone walk over and stand over her.
"Yes, may I help you?" she asked looking up from the clipboard. Then she saw it was Jimin standing over her.
"Hey Akaiya, Jin told me you were here to apply for the job?" he said with a questioning tone.
"Yes I am," she replied smiling up at Jimin. "Actually I am done with my résumé, so here you are." she said handing her completed résumé to Jimin.
"Ok, I'll go to the back and check it out." he said taking the résumé.
He then walked to the back leaving Akaiya there at the table to wait. Fifteen minutes later Jimin returned to Akaiya with her résumé and a blank stare on his face. Akaiya felt nervous, and Jimin's expressionless stare wasn't helping.
"Akaiya," Jimin said still showing no emotion. "I regret to inform you that," he said leaving a brief pause. "You'll be working with me and Jin at the café!" he said breaking into a smile and laughing.
Akaiya stood up and playfully hit Jimin for making her think she didn't get the job. "So when do I start?" she asked.
"Does this Wednesday sounds good?"
"Hold on let me see," she said grabbing her phone out of her back picket pretending like she was checking her calendar. "Ummm...yea this Wednesday sounds good." she replied smiling at Jimin.
Jimin smiled back at her winking. "Well ok, your shift will start around 11:30am to 3pm on Mondays through Saturdays and you have Sundays off. Got it?"
"Yep. I guess I'll see you in two days Jimin." she waved goodbye to Jimin and before she walked out if the door she waved goodbye to Jin.
