"EMILY TIME FOR SCHOOL GET UP!" My mother yelled as she banged in my door to get me up.

I groaned and rolled out of bed. The thin I probably dislike the most about school, is the early 5:30 mornings.

I stood their facing the wall as I rubbed all the annoying little sleep boogers off of my eyes and eased towards my dresser.

"Hmm.." I said while flipping through all my concert tshirts. Really all my shirts have bands on them, I didn't mind it. After about five minutes, I settled on a lose Green Day crop top and a pair of high wasted black skinny jeans.

I shuffled into my bathroom and grabbed out my makeup case. Most girls I know like to cake their face, I just wear mascara and somedays eyeliner too.

Today I just settled on mascara because I was just too tired this morning to try and attempt eyeliner. I swiped the brush against my eyes until they looks good enough then started on my hair.

Today just felt like a bun day so I pushed my hair up in a bun and grabbed my blue toothbrush and spongebob toothpaste and started brushing.

After a quick brushing that my dentist wouldn't approve of, I grabbed my black vans and headed down stairs.

The old carpet brushed against my feet as a ran down the stairs, trying not to trip like yesterday.

I jumped of the last step and onto the ground loudly, usually my mom would yell at me, but today is was quiet.

I walked over to the fruit basket on the counter with a puzzled look on my face. I reached for an apple but was stopped by a sticky note in the corner of the counter. With a frown I walked over to it.

(A/n I can't do italics when on phone)

Had to go to the office early today, have a great day at school. I love you!

I frowned at the note. I liked my mom more than I did when I was little. It's just the thing I dislike the most, is she's always working.

When I was in about 8th grade, my mom told me that se was getting a new job as an account. But that confused me because you have to go to collage for all of that. Eventually I found out that while she worked her stripper job, she went to school during the day. Then at night she would work that job.

She also told me that she had to be a stripper because it was the only job she could get at the moment. But then being the curious little ass I am I went further and told her she seemed to like the job better because she would bring them home.

She then told me that when she would bring them home she gets a mega paycheck. So I guess that was good? But the past is in the past and now we are close and everything seems to be going good, besides the while dad thing but I'm not getting into all of that shit.

I knew the bus would be here soon so I went for my apple again and grabbed it then headed for my backpack.

My backpack was just a boring old black backpack but it was my last year so I'm not going to waste money on a new one.

Almost running out the door barefoot, I scrambled for my shoes on the stairs and slid them on.

I stood up from the stairs and ran/slid across the wood floors heading towards the door.

I opened the old wooded door with a creek and I was greeted with a blast of warm air. I smiled and walked out of the door then closing it.

"Hey Emily!" A familiar voice called from behind me. I whipped around to see Luke jogging towards me. My stomach filled with butterfly's in an instant and I waved at him.

Did I still have a crush on Luke? Psh no.

Luke slowed to a stop in front of me and smiled. I practically melted right there.

"So you ready for school to be over?" I said with a smile that probably made me look like an idiot.

"Hell yeah!" He said yelling. I giggled. I hated my laugh so I stopped quick. But I couldn't help but laugh again because if Liz was here right now she would be dragging him by the ear home.

"Me too dude..." Wait did I just call him dude. I metallurgy punched myself and smiled at Luke.

Luke opened his mouth to say something but the. Was interrupted by the screeching brakes of the yellow bus In front of us now.

"Well I guess I'll see you at lunch Em." He did another dimply smile that made me weak in the knees.

Luke and I said our goodbyes here because we didn't sit by each other on the bus and, the next time I'll see him is lunch.

Luke walked up the gum covered steps and into the bus disappearing into the mass of kids.

I followed after him and every gum covered step I took, the yells seemed to get louder. I sighed and walked in the aisle looking for an empty seat.

The bus started up again and I fit found a seat toward the back. I sighed and put in head phones, letting Florence + The Machine fill my ears instead of the yelling of the bus.
