"Oh i'm good really Mrs. B-" I started. She knew i had trouble reading with my "undiagnosed" dyslexia, she just wanted to make a fool of me again.
"Well too bad, your're reading it." She said with a look that made me want to curl up in a ball and hibernate for 40 years.
"Uh.. okay yeah..." I said while flipping to the right page. "Uh.." I started to panic i didn't know if i was on the right page, the numbers were all jumbled. I looked to my left to this one weird girls page and sighed when i found out I'm on the right page. Okay you've got the right page, now just read it can't be that hard right?
Boy was I wrong.
"Uh-is that a L...no wait its a p?" My hands started to sweat and i rubbed them on my jeans trying to dry them off. I turned my head slightly so I could make out Calum. I gave him a look of help. He looked up at Mrs. Bitchfart who's eyes were fixed on me then turned back towards me. He moved his mouth telling me the letter.
P
I made a mental note to thank him for that later at lunch and tried again.
"The Pyr-Pyrenees? Uh..-"
"We don't have all day.. Issac you read where she left off." She looked back at me with a evil glare that honestly made me feel like crying.
Don't cry here you need to show everyone you are not a wimp.
I bit the inside of my cheek to try and hold the tears in. Eventually it worked thanking Santa, Gandhi, Jesus, God, Santa, i turned my head back to my book trying to follow along as Issac read, listening to how he never made a flaw. Show off.
I zoned out thinking of feeding Bitchfart to sharks and Luke proposing to me. That sound pretty good. I sat through the rest of the class grinning like an idiot.
