Tom Pov:

I am SO happy that those 2 long days are over with.

I'm exhausted and my ass hurts like hell.

I lay in Tord's bed with SOME CLOTHES ON.

My heat isn't over, but I learned that every time you have sex it becomes less intense.

Thank Jehovah for that.

Tord keeps staring at me from beside me.

"The 2 days are up Tord. Don't get any ideas," I say to Tord.

Tord huffs and turns his head.

Tord mumbles something.

"What was that?" I ask.

Tord mumbles again.

"Tord you better say it," I say.

"I said I love you! Jeez Tom," Tord says.

I huff and look away.

"You seems irritated," Tord says.

"Usually after sex you get me a bottle of Smirnoff so it takes the pain away," I say.

"Oh.. Do you want me to go get you a bottle?"

"Yeah.."

"Okay Tom. I'll be right back,"

Tord gets up from the bed and walks out the door.

I look up at the ceiling and sigh.

After a few minutes Tord comes back with a Smirnoff bottle.

I sit up on the bed and Tord hands it to me.

"Thanks Tord," I say.

"No problem Tom," Tord says.

I open up the bottle and begin chugging it.

Tord sits next to me on the bed.

"So.. Was I good at being dominant?" Tord asks me.

I lower the bottle and say, "Of course Tord. You're always good at being dominant."

"You sure?"

"Yeah? Why are you asking?"

"I guess I just want you happy.. You know since we're married now,"

"You're thinking too much into the speech the priest said at the ceremony. Don't think about it too hard. Okay?"

"Okay,"

I drink more of my Smirnoff.

"You think everyone's okay at base?" Tord asks me.

"Yeah, everyone there knows how to handle themselves," I say.

"Right,"

....

"Did Pat really die?" Tord asks.

...

"Yes," I say.

I remember when I broke Pat's promise and got angry at Tord, but after that I've been trying to make up for it for years.

It's just really hard now.

I've just been mentally annoyed ALL THE TIME and I hate it.

I usually keep promises and it kills me to think I broke it.

I guess in a way it was a pretty a unreasonable promise and maybe Pat never meant it that way when he gave me his last words.

What I'd do to see Pat again...
