I Surrender

Tom Pov:

"OKAY NOW I HAVE A TAIL!" I yell.

"Tom you have to calm down," Edd says.

"HOW CAN I BE CALM WHEN I HAVE A TAIL?!" I say to Edd and turn to face him which makes my swing and hit Matt flying him across the room into a wall.

"Oops," I say.

"The scientists are coming up with a cure, but for now you need to calm down Tom," Edd says.

I keep on panicking.

I turn to face the crowed of people watching me and hit Edd with my tail which also flys him across the room, but he hits a pillow fort the children made instead of a wall.

"Why couldn't I have that landing?" Matt asks rhetorically and groans.

"Tom we're finding a cure! Just relax a minute!" Edd says and gets up from the remains of the pillow fort.

"EDD I'M GROWING HORNS AND I'M FREAKING OUT!!" I yell.

I feel a sharp pain on my neck.

I slowly feel myself going back to normal.

The purple veins are gone, I have no tail, and no horns.

I'm cured!

I look up at the crowed and people with guns are pointing... behind me?

I turn around quickly and see Tord in the flesh.

"T-TORD?!" I yell.

"Who knew some radiated alcohol could do the trick," Tord says and drops the syringe he used on me on to the floor.

Edd puts a gun to Tord's head and gives him a deathly glare.

"I recommend you put your hands above your head and surrender Tord or you'll have a bullet in your head in a matter of seconds," Edd says.

Tord sighs.

Then I see something I thought I'd never see...

He raises his hands above his head.

"T-Tord?.." I ask.

"I surrender," Tord says.

My eyes widen.

"That's a good chap," Edd says with a devilish smirk.

A rebel takes Tord's guns from his holsters quickly and cuffs him.

"Tord What are you-"

"Don't worry Tom. I'll be fine," Tord says.

Tord gives me a smile.

That's a real smile...

A genuine smile...

"Come on Bastard, let's go," Edd says and grabs a hold of his cuffs.

Edd roughly pulls Tord away from me.

"Tord-"

I feel a hand on my shoulder and hear, "It's not worth it."

I turn my head and see Matt with a face that will make any grown man sad to see.

"Trust me Tom. It's just not worth it," Matt says.

I feel like asking what he means, but instead I stay quiet.
