"Jackson, wake up. Its time," Greir says, which is weird since either the alarm clock wakes me up or Lionel does, but I do anyways. I skip taking my shower since theres no point in that today, since I'll have to get my hands dirty in the arena obviously. I go in the living room and see that at the other side of the hallway, Elizabeth has just waken up. "Once the train stops, you're going to go on a Capitol ship with the other tributes to get your tracker. Its also to get you closer to the arena. Ok?" He asks.

"Ok," I say, still tired. I try my hardest to stay awake for obvious reason. About a half and hour or so later, the train slows down and stops. I feel the anticipation grow inside of me until I feel sick, knowing that I'll have to be in a Hunger Games. The feeling of leaving my family to ender a gladiatorial styled death match sends a shiver down my spine. I can tell by the face Elizabeth is showing that she's feeling the same way. Once the doors open, we enter a building, go in an elevator, and I'm left to go on a ship, like the one Greir told me about.

"Wait," Greir says. "Remember Jackson, you can do this. I believe in you. I know that sounds really corny but I'm serious. Just try your best to start alive," He says. I just give him a nod of approval and slowly walk to the ship, get on with Elizabeth, and we're told to sit in our stationed chairs and my tracker is put in my arm. When they insert it, I see something glow white, signaling that the tracker has been set in the right place I guess. That thing must measure and take note of your pulse since thats how the Gamemakers know if you're dead or alive. It really hurts to get the tracker in, but I cover the pain up with a blank face and say nothing.

On the other hand, Elizabeth gives out a small wince of pain by accident. I see that the Careers have noticed and they have giggled, and they've whispered something. All I can make out is the word "10," when Clyde talks. Finally, I can tell that we've just left since when we lifted up you get that feeling that makes you feel like you've gained a thousand pounds, like the same feeling you get when you go up in an elevator. I takes us a long time before we stop, land, and get out. Me and Elizabeth are escorted by four Peacekeepers and we are sent in different directions to go in the launch room. When I enter the room I'm accompanied by my head stylist. He grabs the iconic  District 10 arena jacket and zips it on me.

"Remember Jackson, just show Panem that District 10 is not a district to be overlooked. Can you do that for me please?" He says. I have to say, Ive gained much more respect for him when he said that.

I grin and reply, "Bet your ass I can," We both laugh, but your brief moment of happiness is interrupted when Claudius says that we have 10 seconds until launch, so we give a very quick hug, and I jog to the launching tube thingy. Immediately I can feel that I am rising, and I feel so sick that I think I might vomit. My breath is literally taken away when I see the arena.

A snowy tundra. Absolutely nothing but snow, except the cornucopia. In the background, there are some mountains and hills converted by snow, as you'd guess. Its so cold and windy that it just hurts to stand out here. Ive pulled my hood down on my head and rolled down my sleeves but that does nothing. This jacket is so thin. I can see the other tributes doing the same, except the boy from 6, who reminds me of Greir, with his eyes fixated on the black cornucopia. I admire him for his strength, being much younger than me as I can tell, but it'll hurt him in the long run. He's to my left and I see that his face is already red. Its so bone chillingly freezing that its hard to make rational decisions, even though decisive action must be taken now. I rub my hands together to get some heat but I might as well have done nothing. I look up and see that theres five seconds left until the Games begin - SHIT! I FORGOT TO SEE THAT, ALONG WITH GETTING MY TOKEN!

I forget what Greir said about NOT entering the bloodbath and run strait for the place, hoping that they'll have something to make us warmer. They have to, and its a good idea to get us in the bloodbath. The Gamemakers must have made sure of this since the bloodbath last year had a low death count during the bloodbath. The first thing I dash towards is a backpack filled with God knows what and I run towards the cornucopia. Outside of the structure, lies a machete leaning on a crate with a spear. I have no business using a spear, so I just the machete and run. But I'm stopped when the boy from a district I know (since his jacket is covered in snow) takes a knife and swings at me. I dodge it, and I notice for a millisecond that its Daniel.

Just realizing who that bastard is makes me slice his throat open right before he swings his knife at me once again. He collapses on the ground and falls on his back, choking on his blood. Although it would be nice to see him die, I have no time to see it sadly. Am I overreacting about him being a dick to me? I don't know, I just get really bad vibes from him. Meanwhile, I see the boy from 6 tear someone's flesh open with his bear teeth, splattering blood everywhere. I figure this is my time to leave and I dash in a random direction, having no idea where I'll end up.

When its getting dark, I decide to stop and rest. The anthem plays and I know what I'll see, the faces of the deceased, the people that died in the bloodbath. Its in this order: the D12 M, Daniel, D7 M, D7 F, D12 F, D5 F, D9 F, D11 M, D11 F, Elizabeth, and the D8 F. I don't know hoe Elizabeth died, but I don't feel sorry for her. Chances are, she ran for supplies. Who knows, maybe that boy from 6 was the one who bit her, but Im not sure that was her, since that was during the early stages of the bloodbath. I take a look inside my bag and see whats in it: a pack of useless darts, an empty bottle, and a piece of a tent. What a useless bag of shit. It gets me very angry.

"What the hell am I supposed to use this for?" I say to a random camera in the ground. I obviously get no answer.
