I wake up to the sounds of footsteps, approaching me fast. I have no idea who it could be, but fighting with someone is the last one I want to do, just a day after the Games started. Im about to rub my eyes when I'm tackled by the boy 6's district partner.

"Nothing personal 10, but theres only one winne-" and her sentence is cut off when the Careers join the party.

"Well, well, well, what do we have here?" Clyde asks.

"Some kids who have no chances of winning," Kaily says, "I'll tell you this. To make things more interesting, whoever kills the other will be able to join the Career pack. I don't think we're in the mood for killing right now. After all, I just killed three people," she says. That makes me want to kill this stranger even more. The girl from 6 tries to throw her knife at me but I slice her leg open, doing irreparable damage to her arteries and veins. She screams in agony, and to end her misery, I strike my machete in the center of her head, ultimately stopping her blood curdling cries, and I hear a cannon. Blood streams out of her head like a river of blood.

I hear a buzzing on top of me and I know exactly what it is: a hovercraft picking up the dead body. Tonight I'll be able to see her face for the last time.

"Well then, congrats. Your now a member of the pack," Bishop says. I know Greir said that I shouldn't join them, but I'll be safe for quite some time with them, until no-one else is alive but me and them, but I can still outlive these kids - well, not kids exactly, I think Bishop is 18, or at least close to that age. Later, while we are waling in a random direction, I notice that while they're talking, they have no supplies except for the weapons.

"Why don't you guys have any supplies?" I ask.

They all turn towards me and Sophy says, "There was nothing when it came to food there in the bags. We checked after the bloodbath. So, we decided to just leave the bags behind, since there was nothing but trash in them,"

"That explains it," I reply, "All I had in my bag was some crap too. Whatever the Gamemakers are doing, they going to make us get food in a very different and and usual way. Im cold as hell too. Im surprised that there is no supplies to make fires or something,"

"Yeah, I know. Weird, but they can't starve us and give us nothing to warm up, so.... yeah," Sophy says back. "By the way, we're heading towards those mountains to scavenge for some more tributes. I saw that strategy 16 years ago when I was young, but I kept the idea in my mind, even when I was two," That was the year Tizon....I mean Haymitch won.  Along our random path, we find out food, dead animals. This is what the Capitol is serving us. Or maybe the boy from 6 is just a nasty son of a bitch.

"Well, I'm not gonna eat that shit," Mona says.

"Well I will, and I'll do something else with it too," Bishop says, "If I have to, I'll sleep in it to sustain heat. I don't give a rats ass I wha I have to do to survive," He opens the stomach of the dead snow leopard.

"Anyways..." Ajax says, "who's your favorite victor? Mine is either Cashmere, Grey, or Rendwick. I don't really like any other victor thats not from a Career district since I'm loyal. What about you, Mona?" he then asks.

"Hmmm, i'd have to say either Cashmere or Muscida since they represent girl power. Once I win, I'll represent it too," Mona replies.

"Yeah, sure. And thats IF you win. I wouldn't bet on it, "Ajax says. They remind me of my stylists talking about random people I don't know. Reality snaps back to me when me and the other Career stumble upon something...

A twitching mutilated body of a tribute.
