Chapter 11

Sean

I pace the room listening to the phone ring. "Pick up, pick up, pick up!" I shout. *Click* "Hello?" "Tinashe! Hey, listen I don't want you to hate me or be mad at me but I kind of made a mistake." "Ugh what now? Don't tell me it's something with Ava because if we're gonna start dating again there isn't enough room for three!" Tinashe says angrily through the phone. "Well that's the thing....I don't want to get back together with you." "What? But you said-" "I know, I'm sorry that was a mistake. I know that you're a good person deep down in there Tinashe and I'll always care about you but...I'm in love with someone else." "You've gotta be shitting me! Why do you keep doing this to me Sean?! You have me thinking that you love me and want me and then bam you let that little home-wrecker come in and ruin everything! You know what? We're done. For good." *Click* I exhale deeply. Well that didn't go exactly according to plan but whatever, onto step two.

Ava

I hate Sean, okay I dislike Sean, let's be real I like him... who am I kidding? I'm head over heels in love with that boy. "Stupid!" I scream. How could he do that to me? He sat there told Tinashe he loved her and then came back into my life oh so dramatically and told me he loves me. What the hell am I gonna do? Ugh, I'm going to bed.

Sean

I wake up definitely not in the mood for school. I'm debating skipping but I hate doing that alone, wait I have a better idea. I shower quickly and throw on some clothes. My mom still isn't home yet and she still has no knowledge of anything that's been going on the past few days. I race up the stairs to Ava's door and knock loud since she can pretty much sleep through anything. She scares me by opening the door almost as soon as I knock but she doesn't say anything. She walks back towards the bed and sits down next to some clothes that I'm guessing she picked out for school. "Ava, I'm sorry." "Yeah me too." "Wait, what? What are you sorry for?" "I'm sorry for trusting you and letting myself get caught up in something that wasn't real." "Ava everything I told you was real!" "Stop trying to feed me bullshit Sean!" I walk over the the bed and practically yank her up forcing her to look at me. She has tears pooling in her eyes. "Nothing that I said to you was fake. I meant every word." "What about Tinashe then?" "I was just...looking for someone to be there since I couldn't have you and she was the closest person." "So you were just gonna hurt her?" She moves back away from me. "No! I realized I didn't want to hurt her, or you so I stopped before I was ahead." "Oh you mean after our little reuniting last night?" She says smugly. "Look Ava I know what I did was wrong, and I'm sorry, I'm so sorry. All I want is to be with you!" "How am I supposed to believe you Sean?!" "Because whether or not you wanna admit it, you know that I love you, and I know you love me. That won't ever change." She doesn't say anything, she just stares in my eyes. Then all of a sudden she rushes up and hugs me and I hug her back. "Okay okay, now hurry up and get ready." "You're right we have to take the bus to school." I smile mischievously "Oh we're not going there today." "Huh?" "I expect you down stairs in 45 minutes!" I yell while walking out of the room.

Ava

After Sean leaves the room I go into the bathroom and take a hot shower. As I stand under the water all it can think is he loves me. I can't believe he actually loves me. I'll always love Austin but I think he'd be okay with me loving Sean too. After my shower I throw on my cropped hoodie, some skinny jeans, and my favorite boots. Let's see what today brings with my new boyfriend.
