"Hurry up!" the tiny brunette shouted to her older cousin "Camila, I don't think it's a good idea," Leo spoke. "Why not?" she asked adjusting the gold mask on her face "because you know Titi doesn't want you around the Mendes family. Our families don't get along, you know this." He explained to his younger cousin.

"Who cares, what my mother thinks, I have to create my own judgment. Just because she says they are bad people, doesn't mean they are." The young cuban said, she had a heart made out of gold, she always saw the best in people.

Leo stood there shaking his head, there was no way he was going to change her mind. She was stubborn as a mule. "If we get caught it's your fault," he told her. "We won't, it's a halloween party after all."

"It's the one day of the year you can pretend to be someone you're not!" The brunette said "Tonight we won't be Cabellos, just regular teenagers" she added.

"Have any idea, on how we are going to sneak past them?" Leo asked, the two stood at the top of the staircase looking at some family members. Her parents knew she would want to leave the house to find out more about this family.

They would have arguments on why couldn't she leave the house, why couldn't she go out places. Camila only stayed on this part of town.

Why did her family hate the Mendes family so much?

"Yeah, we will climb down from the balcony" Camila said walking back to her bedroom. She had then replaced the pair of gold sandals she was wearing, to white boots. It had completed her costume, she was an angel.

Leo looked over the edge as Camila had one foot over the railing, "Mila!" He shouted grabbing her and pulling her back, "you're insane" he told the girl. "Please, lets go. I want to leave this place" she begged.

Next thing Leo knew he had one leg over the railing, the two had somehow climbed over the balcony. Now they were both safely on the ground, Camila squealed happily. She skipped down the empty street looking at all the beautiful buildings.

"Are you excited?" The young cuban asked the older one "No" he replied. If they got caught, they were going to be in so much trouble. "It's going to be fun, loosen up!"

The pair stood in front of a large mansion, people coming and going. "Wow" Camila spoke taking in her surroundings, it was breathtaking. There was different types of flowers in the front yard, beautiful big trees, and lights everywhere.

She followed the crowd into the home, Leo quickly followed, not wanting to be left behind. As the tiny brunette entered the house everyone stopped and looked at her. She was the only one wearing a mask and angel wings, everyone was fascinated by her.

"Everyone is staring at you" Leo spoke, "why is that?" She asked confused looking at the people around her "I wouldn't know" he replied.

Camila had lost her older cousin in the crowd, trying to find him she walked into a room. there stood only a few people around her age, they all turned to stare at the beautiful girl.

One boy had caught her eye, he stood at about six feet maybe even taller. Brown hair and it was slightly curly, he didn't seem to be dressed up.

He looked like a prince, he had a white button up shirt. The sleeves were rolled up to his elbows and he wore dark pants.

He noticed the angel looking at him, intrigued by his he started to walk in her direction. Leo wasn't here, so Camila decided to leave the room before the boy could speak to her.

"Who was that?" The boy asked his friend "I don't know Shawn, I never seen anyone like her."

"Wow" Camila mumbled to herself, as she walked up to what seemed to be a huge fish tank, in the middle of the room. She looked at it in awe, placing her hand on the glass. On the other side stood the Mendes boy, looking at the beautiful angel he seen earlier.

The cuban has noticed the boy from earlier on the other side, she smiled softly turning back around. She didn't have time for boys, when she still needed to find her cousin.

Shawn had followed her, as she wondered towards a staircase. Camila walked up the staircase hoping to find the person she was looking for, they lead her to a balcony on the top level of the house.

Shawn stood outside on the balcony wondering where the angel had gone, he could have sworn he saw her go towards the balcony.

The two of them both stood looking over the railing, Camila admired the view. "Wow" She said, she had found herself saying that a lot. "This is amazing" she commented.

Shawn heard a voice coming from above him, wondering who it was. He looked over the railing and above to the balcony, there was the mysteries girl leaning against the railing. Thinking it was a good idea, the Canadian boy started to climb the banister to the top floor.

the cuban girl had removed her mask, for it was bothering her. Until she heard a sound and quickly placed it back on her face, in fear that someone would catch her. Then exited the room she was in, Shawn had made it to the top floor. The only thing was that, the angel was no longer there.

The boy went back inside with a look of disappointment on his face. He turned his head and noticed everyone dancing, but his eyes landed on one person. The angel stood in the doorway watching the way everyone moved. Shawn quickly rushed down stairs, he tried to walk through the crowd of people, but on his way he was stopped by a few people.

He ignored the people and kept walking to the beautiful girl. Camila noticed the boy walking over to her, curiosity got the best of her. She started to walk over to him meeting him in the middle of the room.

He lifted his hand towards her, wondering if she would take it. She looked up at him smiling then placed her hand in his.

It's like everyone else disappeared and it was just the pair, in their own little world. He was just a stranger, a boy she wasn't aloud to be near, but she never felt anything like this before. Shawn felt the same way, he didn't know, this was the girl he was supposed to stay away from.

The Canadian boy reached up to remove the mask the cuban girl was wearing, as he unties the black ribbon holding it up. The clock strikes midnight, realizing how late she stayed out. Camila quickly turns around, looking for her cousin. The masked had fallen on to the floor.

Before Shawn could truly see who the angel was, she was gone.
