"I can't be who?" I asked. He looked at me and took a deep breath.
"I thought I had lost you all those years ago." He said and my eyes widened. "I thought you were dead." I gulped and took a shaky breath.
"What are you saying?" He looked at me and his face softened ever so slightly, his eyes starting to become glassy.
"I'm your father." he said softly. I tensed and froze, not knowing how to react. I was taking it all in at once. I fell to the ground and curled up into a ball. I felt a hand on my back gently going in circles to calm me down.
When I calmed down I sat up. Loki was sitting on the floor next to me and held his arms open for me. I gladly embraced my father and cried onto his shoulder. He soothed me and whispered to me softly. I stopped crying and just stayed there in his arms taking in the moment. Wishing this moment would never have to end. Then a large crash was heard and we both jumped slightly. We both stood up and saw what was happening. A prisoner had broken his cell and was freeing the others.
"Get under the bed, now." father told me. I did as I was told and slid under his bed. I was scared out of my mind, I shut my eyes tightly and didn't make a sound. "You might wanna take the stairs to the left." father said randomly. I didn't even bother to wonder why he said that. I heard guards screaming and something burning. Their cries of agony became branded deep into my mind.
After a while I heard Thor's booming voice. The fighting kept on going until it abruptly stopped. Everything was silent.
"You can come out now." my father told me. I crawled out and ran to him immediately, I wrapped my arms around him and sobbed uncontrollably. He was shocked at first but then wrapped his arms around me comforting me once more. I stopped crying, only to be greeted by a loud thunderous crack. I jumped slightly. "Well he's pissed off." Father chuckled and I laughed with him.
We spent the rest of the day finding out stuff about each other. About the things we like to do and fun times we've had before.
"Uh father may I ask you a question?" I asked.
"You've been asking questions since we first met. Go right ahead." he smiled at me.
"Where's my birthmother?" I regretted asking the question because his face saddened.
"She, is dead. She died trying to protect you. A few months after you were born fire demons attack Asgard, they were looking for you.
You were a strong being, you had my magic, and all of your mothers abilities." He paused. "She was found lifeless on the floor, Thor was holding her weeping. Saying he was sorry over as over again. I asked where you were and he looked down. He told me that you were captured by the fire demons. He told me that your mother fought bravely to protect you. That she did everything she could until her last breath." I had tears in my eyes and saw that he did too. "I think it's best you run along now, before you get caught." I nodded and stood up, giving him one last hug. "And remember, this stays between us, no one can know you are my daughter." I nodded and teleported out, god that was awesome. I ran out of the dungeon to see the throne room looking like a tornado hit. I walked around slowly and cautiously. I felt someone put a hand on my shoulder and spun me around.
"Excuse me, but are you by chance Lady Noel?" a woman asked.
"It depends, who's asking?" I asked wearily.
"Lady Sif, I'm a friend of Thor." She said.
"Then I am, but just call me Noel please." she nodded.
"Come with me please." She said and I followed obediently.
"Noel!" Jane shouted with tears in her eyes, she ran to me and hugged me tightly.
"Why are you crying?" I asked and she looked off somewhere. I followed her gaze and saw Friggas' lifeless body on the floor. Tears began to fill my eyes.
'Grandmother.' was all that went through my head. I looked at her body again and something about her was familiar. I pulled away from the hug and walked over to Odin and got on my knees next to him. I put my hand on his back, and his head snapped towards me, his expression hardened and became bitter.
"I'm sorry for your loss." I said, his face softened a bit and he went back to weeping over his beloved queen. I stood up and took one more look at Frigga before leaving. I walked all over the castle, I stopped when my feet started to hurt. I walked over to a wall and pressed my back against it. I slowly slid down as I crumbled on the inside. It then clicked on where I saw Frigga before. I saw her when the time froze in London. I thought I saw her move, but cast it off as my imagination. Then I remembered another time after another of when I saw her. It was always when I was a small child, she would either be watching me from the distance or she would confront me an start a conversation with me. Why hadn't I recognized her when I first met her here?
"Lady Noel is everything alright?" Thor asked. I was so busy remembering that I hadn't noticed Thor. I shook my head no. "What is wrong?"
"It's just, I felt like I knew your mother from somewhere, as if I've seen her before I came here." I said softly. He looked confused.
"Where you on Asgard before?" he asked.
"Never." I lied, well technically I have been here before but I don't remember. "Thor she's the reason why Jane and I are still alive, she had frozen, well slowed down the time when we were about to die, I got us out of the way, but she slowed down the time allowing me to do so." He stared at me dumbfounded.
"She had been watching over Jane for me." he said sadly.
'More like watching over her granddaughter.' I thought.
"I guess so." I replied as I put my hand on Thor's shoulder. "Thor can I ask you a favor?" he nodded. "Can you keep this conversation between us?" I asked.
"Of course." he smiled and I hugged him tightly.
'Thank you uncle Thor.' I thought.
"Now where's Jane?" I asked. He smiled and lead me to Jane.
