Chapter 6

*A month later Jane got a call from SHIELD saying that Amber had died in her sleep. Then after a week of crying over Amber, Lillian and Tera were adopted by the same family. Then two weeks after, Kara's dad came back from Afghanistan and took her home. The day after Kara left with her dad I turned 14.* (don't kill me about the Amber)

"Hey Noel wake up!" I heard Darcy yell in my ear. I shot up in the bed and look at her fully awake. "Come on get dressed we need to go now!" she said. I looked over at the alarm clock and it read 11:55 am. I groaned and got dressed. I walked out and got my hat, scarf, and gloves. I put them on and walked over to the pantry and grabbed a breakfast bar. Me, Darcy, and apparently her new intern walked out of the apartment.

"What ever this is about better be important." I muttered.

"It's VERY important." she said. We got into the car and drove 'off to I know not where.'(hehe see what I did there?) "You get in the back and both of you stay in here while I go inside and get Jane." she commanded. Me and Ian, her intern of who's name she doesn't bother to remember, just sat in the car waiting for Darcy to come out with Jane.

"So Ian, why are you her intern?" I asked. He looked at me.

"I need the credit."he said. There was an awkward silence. It was broken by none other than Darcy.

"Where's Ja-" I was cut off by Jane opening the passenger door and sliding in. I shut up and tuned out everything. The car stopped and I got out immediately. "Why are we in an abandon area?" I asked. No one answered so I just followed them.

I saw Jane leave Darcy, Ian, and the kids, so I followed her. she disappeared randomly after a strong wind blew her into...I don't know limbo? I followed her to where she went and randomly appeared in a cave like area. I saw Jane near two rocks that had a red glowing light separating the rocks. I saw her about reach in between the rocks.

"Jane don't!" she turned around to look at me. "Jane you don't just go around sticking your hand in between things. Especially two boulders that have a red glowing light coming out from between them." I said sternly as if I was the adult here.

"Don't you want to know what it is? It might be the way out." she replied. I sighed and reached my hand in, only for a red floating liquid to come shooting out.

"Or it can be some completely random ass shit like that!" I yelled before it came towards me. I heard Jane scream for me to get out of the way, but it was too late. I felt it corse through my veins, it felt like pure darkness. Jane came running over to me as I laid on the ground. I saw her mouth moving but couldn't hear anything. I felt my eyes become heavy and I blacked out.
