Just Friends

Chapter 4 ~Some Fun~

I set my duffel down in the guest room then went back the the living room where Leah was lounging on the couch. I plopped down next to her.
"So have you thought about your situation at all? Or can you not get the gas station guy out of your head?"
I blushed "A little of both. But so?!"
She shook her head with a laugh. "You're insane."
I sighed and looked down. She quickly noticed that all of this was weighing on me. "Look let's go out and get your mind off of everything for now. You have the rest of the week to dwell on it."
I nodded "Ok. Where are we going?" She smirked and got up. "Got get dressed and look hot! But comfortable." I raised my eyebrow in confusion but did as she told me.
About an hour later I was ready for whatever Leah had planned. I walked down the stairs, my heels clicked on the marble stairs as I decended. At the bottom was Leah in a black dress with blue and purple leggings under with a jacket over. She wore heels that added almost a half foot to her height and makeup that made her look beautifully mysterious, her long black hair was slightly hidden under a black beanie.
I wore a dark purple shirt and a black jacket with a pair of black jeans. I went simple on the makeup but it still added to my look.
Leah eyed me up and down and smiled. "You look great! I can see why we're cousins." I rolled my eyes and grabbed my purse. "What do you have planned?" She smirked and grabbed her car keys. "I'll show you.." She grabbed my hand and dragged me to the car.
"Remember I'm only 17 so I can't drink or anything too crazy..." She scoffed as she started the engine. "Do you think I'm that dumb?"
"Well I mean..." I laughed.
"Go to hell." She punched my arm with a laugh.
We drove for about forty minutes, in that time it had gotten dark and my doubts started to set in. "Leah where are we going?" She parked the car. "We're here!" She hopped out of the car. I grumbled and got out. "Le-...." I stopped mid sentence as my eyes caught sight of a glowing sign. 'The Taruna'
"Come on Alexis!" Leah was already at the enterance. I quickly ran over to her. "What is this place?" We walked in and sat down at a vacant spot. "It's like a club but for anyone that is in their teens. No alcohol. No drugs. All safe. Except for the couple of assholes that come around once in a while.. See alot of teens wanted a hangout spot so they petitioned and now this is it." I looked around and saw a fair amount of people. "Ok but why did you want me to look hot?"
"If I just said comfortable you would've came in a pair of sweats." I opened my mouth to say something but then closed it. Leah smirked. "Exactly. Want something to drink?" I nodded. She ordered some drinks and they were brought to us.
After a while of sitting,drinking and talking Leah got the idea to hang out in the arcade area of the club. So we went and played some air hockey.
Currently I was whooping ass but we were interrupted by a group 4 of boys. "Hey cutie wanna play with us?" One jeered. "I wont bite unless you want me to." Another commented. I turned  to them pretty pissed off. "Go to hell morons." They laughed "She thinks she's tough!" They grabbed me by the arms and dragged me outside. When Leah tried to intervene they took her with them.
Once we were outside the ugliest one got in my face and smiled. "Youre not from around here... You should learn how things roll in these parts." I gagged slightly at the stench of his breath. "Get away from me asshole."
He growled and raised his hand. I fought against the guy holding my arms to no avail. I closed my eyes and awaited the hit that was to come...
