Chapter 9 ~She's so cute~

Today was the day. After a week of 'thinking' I still didn't have a decision.. I didn't want to interact with Grayson after the dream. I couldn't tell him I was leaving or why I was here or even that I liked him. I planned to leave and not look back..
I went to the kitchen and had breakfast with Leah. "So anything new with you?" She asked. "Nope. Its my last day here so that's all.." She sighed. "That's a bummer.." "It is and I don't even know what I'm going to do about Amelia or Grayson really.." "Well cuz. I've told you what I had to say on the matter but at the end of the day the decision is yours.."

So I spent the rest of the day with my favorite cousin. Not worrying about anything. I still had no real plan but I would figure something out..
Soon enough it was time for me to go. I packed my things, packed the car and we were off.
After a long drive I was home in my bed with the same thoughts swirling in my head. But before I got too deep in them my door swung open and a weight fell upon my body. Amelia hugged me insanely tight and cried about how she missed me. A couple minutes later she got off and smiled at me. "So how was your trip?" "It was fun..." She looked at me and smirked. "No there's something else." She pinned me to the bed. "Tell me tell me!" I huffed and pushed her off then got on top of her. "I am not telling you shit." She stuck her tongue out at me and giggled. "You'll tell me soon enough. Now get off. You're heavy!" She kicked at the air. I stared at her for a few seconds. She's so cute.. "Alex helllooooo?" She leaned up towards me to get my attention..
At that second I don't know what came over me but before I even knew what I was doing I was kissing Amelia on the lips.. She sat there stunned definitely not kissing back. When I realized what I had done I pulled away and got off of her. I then started apologizing like crazy. She hesitantly got up off my bed and went to the door. I panicked and blocked her from the door. "Amelia look I'm sorry please dont go.." She shook her head. " Alex please move.." My chest tightened. "Amelia.." My eyes welled up with tears. "Alex move!" She pushed me out of the way and opened the door. I couldn't give up so easily. I followed her outside my house and grabbed her hand. "I'm sorry damn it! I couldnt help myself! There was a moment and I got lost in it. I should've asked first. Please don't go!" She tried to pull her hand away but I wouldn't let go and thats when her other hand met my cheek. I felt the sting of rejection not only in my heart but now on my face. I slowly let go of her, as soon as she got the chance she walked away. I turned and walked inside as tears fell from my eyes..
