Chapter 7 ~Let me think on it~

The kiss was the most blissful thing I've ever experienced. I almost didn't want it to end... Almost.. But I couldnt help the nagging voice in my head that reminded me of why I was out here. I mumbled something to Grayson about having to get inside and got out of the car. As I made my way to the door he yelled out of the car window. "Ill text you in the morning! Goodnight." I blushed and waved at him then went inside and to my room. I didnt even take the time to change or wash my face, I just dropped on my bed and fell right asleep.

I woke up earlier than I wanted so I had time to think on my situation. I stared at the ceiling in thought. 'Maybe I should just go with what Leah said.. But thats mean.. I could just be with Gray. I know he likes me for sure now.. But what kind of ending is that.. Ive gone through all of this to let her go?' I rolled out of bed and went to get some breakfast. I met with Leah in the living room and we talked.
I decided that I would try to stay away from Gray until I made a decision. Leah was ignoring me today she was on her phone texting.  "Who are you texting so much?" She scooched away a little. "No one.." I raised my eyebrow. "Who is it?"  "Just um... Nobody.." I inched towards her. "Tell me or Ill force you to." She squeaked as she pulled her phone close. "His name is Nick!" "Nick?" I sat back and gave her a questioning look. "Y-yeah.." I scratched my neck and looked up. "I feel like I've heard of a Nick recently..." I thought about it for a couple minutes. Every minute that went by Leah got more and more nervous.
Then it hit me.
"NO. NOT THAT NICK." Leah flinched at my outburst. "W-what Nick are you thibking of?" "One of the assholes that attacked us the other day! Am I right!?" "Yeah..." I gasped. "Leah! Why?!" She put her hands up in defense. "He delivered a pizza to me yesterday and apologized and he hung out with me all day and we got along really well and kinda made out.."
I sighed in defeat. "Look I cant tell you how to live your life. But please dont let him hurt you or Ill kill him. Then you for being dumb.." She laughed and hugged me.

Leah went out on a date with Nick who I still didn't trust. So I was alone playing my game. I wasnt online long when I got a party invite from Gray. I went to accept when I got another invite from Amelia.. I debated who's invite to accept. Since I havent talked to Amelia in a while I decided to accept hers then move to Graysons when I was done.
"Alexis? Hello?" A familiar voice talked through my headphones. "Amelia... Hey.." My heart seemed to race slightly at the sound of her voice.  "Ohmygod hi! I saw you were online and thought we could talk! I miss you so much. I swear I should punch you for leaving me. You know I'm a mess without you. God you suck so much for going!" She quickly spoke. I laughed "I know. I'm sorry... I'm here now." "You dont miss me?" I blushed. "I do miss you.." "Good!" I knew she was smiling from the sound of her voice. We talked for a while, well Amelia talked and I listened intently to everything she said. My feelings about her didnt seem to change. After about 20 minutes of talking Amelia had to go, so we said our goodbyes and she signed off. I then went to Graysons invite and accepted it. "Hey sorry I didn't join earlier I was talking to a friend.." "Its ok. I was a little worried.. I thought you didn't like our kiss or something.." "Of course I liked it.." I said with a slight laugh. I heard a sigh of relief on my headphones. "Good.. Maybe we can do it again sometime.." I smiled a little. "I'd like that..."
