Just Friends

Chapter 6 ~I'll do it~

"Ok." I said as I stood up from the counter. "Ok?" Leah questioned. "I'll do it. I'll text him." Before she could question me more I walked off to my room to grab my phone. When I got back Leah was on the couch, I dropped myself next to her and pulled out my phone. 'Hey it's Alexis. What ideas do you have for me to repay you?' I hit send and awaited Graysons response.
About ten minutes later my phone buzzed. 'i was thinking of showing you around town. Maybe get some food? Your cousin can come too.' As I finished reading I began to ask Leah if she wanted to come but since she has lived here for a few years she didnt want to be shown around so she decided to stay behind and run some errands.  'I'll go but Leah said she'll pass.' He quickly responded 'Ok cool send me your address and I'll pick you up at noon.'  I sent him my address and began to get ready. I wore a pair of jeans with a baggy white shirt tucked in and a dark blue sweater that was kinda long on me. I popped on a pair of heels and finished off my look by doing my hair and makeup.
By the time I finished it was about five minutes to noon. Not long after the doorbell rang I walked towards the door but Leah stopped me with a hug. "Have fun and be safe." I hugged her back then made my way to the door. I opened it with a smile on my face, I couldnt help to look him over and notice how hot he looked. He wore white jeans with a black shirt and black hood with black and white shoes that helped tie it all together. "You uh... Look great.." He said. I nodded and closed the door behind me. "Same to you.."
He led me to his car and opened the door for me. I thought the gesture was super cute, once I got in he closed the door for me and went around to the drivers side. Not long after he got in we drove off towards town. "Bummer your cousin didnt want to come." He said trying to strike up a conversation. "Yeah well shes lived here a while and she kinda knows the city already." He nodded and shrugged. "Thats cool. Just me n' you today then."
We talked more throughout the ride, mostly about video games. We pulled into the town central, he parked and we got out to begin our day.

Throughout the day Grayson showed me all the cute little stores the town had and even bought me some stuff. We ate at a diner which I've never been to or heard of. After that we went to the gamestore and actually played some games there which is not something back where I live. 'Probably because the crime rate is low here'  Was my reasoning to it. To end our already amazing day we went to the carnival. We played games, rode the rides and ate the weirdest, greasiest food we probably would ever eat. It was amazing.
We were there until it closed. I didnt want the night to end, I was having so much fun. But we made our way back to the car. "Gray.. I.. Today was the best day ever.. You really know how to have fun and treat a girl right.." He smiled "I had a great time too. You really made today way more fun.." I leaned over and hugged him. "Youre so sweet.." He hugged me back and after a few seconds we parted. His eyes locked with mine. My face reddened, I tried to break our gaze but I couldn't seem to tear my eyes away from his. He started to close the gap between us, I did the same til our lips were barely an inch apart. I could feel his warm breath cascading over my awaiting lips. "Do you..." I cut him off, finally closing the gap between us. His eyes widened for a second but we both seemed to ease into the kiss. His hands met my face as he gently pulled me closer.
