I honestly don't know what you mean but-

1) If you mean how you do poses, then it's just the basic learning of the anatomy. Once you have, you can exaggerate the pose and the body types. It's basically like tweening, really. Just work on the anatomy and you're able to make creative poses.

2)If you mean how poses can work in an atmosphere or make it neutral, the character shouldn't directly face the camera, it kinda gives the viewer a bit of feeling of being watched. I mean- this could work if your character is supposed to promote a creepy vibe. And If the character  is giving a strong energy, you want people to feel it, and what you want to do is the make sure that the pose doesn't lead the viewer's eyes away from the character. One way to do this to balance the proportions.


Then again, I'm sorry if you didn't get much of this. This is my first time doing a book on tips and advices so pardon me hehe..
